what's the point of the LED light? i know the move controllers need it for tracking..

you have the PS4 pro right? how's the battery life on the new controller? (Ps4 slim/pro)

LED light in some games will inform you of different things (your health, if items are around, etc etc). For PSVR, if you're not using the Move controllers (like with RE7) - it uses it as a form of tracking still.

I wouldn't know about the battery life on the newer controller models. I have two of them now - but always use my Scuf controller which is modeled off of the older DS4 controller.

the PS4 slim and pro have Bluetooth 4.0 .. it's not the latest but it's an improvement

it's LE (low energy).. so i think you should get more hours out of it.. also you can just use the USB cable to eliminated the input lag problem with the new controllers..

personally i don't look at my controller when playing games.. my eyes are on the tv screen.. so i'm not sure having lights on the controller will help me in anyway..

i was hoping after 3 year. they will release a firmware to turn the light off at least.. but i guess not..
