This should be called idiots (flat earth) versus people with actual braincells (round earth)

But hey if you wanna believe Tila Tequila who thinks the Earth is flat and thats she a time traveling demon angel and thinks Hitler was hero, then AHAHAHAHAHA that makes you a fucking moron.

Tila Tequila is an intelligent Queen whom is super smart, and super funny. Oh also, please this is supposed to be friendly debate!

This is way to stupid to be friendly

Agree.

OP, are you gonna say the sun is flat too?

Let's be real here, we cannot confirm two different sides of the sun. They both look identical. but as I said with the moon, we never see
the other side, so we could actually be only ever seeing the one side of the sun

you know saying the earth flat is like rejecting the whole universe system since your so called theory won't be able to explain the occurrence of days and night
where's the moon at? lying flat beside the flat sun? or our flat earth is actually going flip flop to explain the time difference with sun and moon on each side?

ever wonder why you never see two sides of the moon?
because the other side doesn't exist

the 'darker' side of the moon is actually the one facing us :P

Odd, I never see that "other side"

maybe because you're on Earth and not orbiting the Moon

This dudes obviously trolling but if anyone is actually wondering why you never see the far side of the moon it's thanks to the earth's gravity, the earth tugs on the moon as it rotates and eventually that tugging led to the moon slowing down on it's axis to the point where it rotates at the same speed as it's orbit around the earth causing one side to always face the earth. The phenomenon is known as being "tidally locked" to the planet and many other moons in the solar system do the same thing (like the moons of Jupiter for example)

Or he can ask the Nazis from the dark side of the moon to protect earth borders.

I think they are tapped trying to keep the moon white. The seem to make progress for about 14 to 15 days and are even able to turn the moon white, but then the darkness starts encroaching again for the next 14 to 15 days undoing all their progress.

So recently, i've been doing research if the Earth is ACTUALLY round.
After doing many scientific assessment and observations, I have came to a conclusion that Earth is really flat.

Now I know what you're going to say! No, I am not an idiot!
Here are some 5 facts to help claim my scientific research...

FIRST OFF
If the Earth is actually round, then why is it that when I put a spherical ball on the ground it doesn't roll away?
If Earth was really round, then the ball would've rolled away... /.\

SECOND OFF
NASA has never released ANY real images of Earth EVER! They've only showed us illustrations that they even admit that are made by them!

THIRD OFF
If the Earth is actually "round" then where is the curvature in the horizon?
As this intelligent rapper named B.o.B has once said,

"No matter how high in elevation you are... the horizon is always eye level ... sorry cadets... I didn’t wanna believe it either,”
very smart man indeed...

FOURTH OFF
This image just explains it, and will hopefully have made you see the truth

FIFTH AND TRUMP CARD

These are my facts proving you all kinda got brainwashed by the free masons...
I've used your fake science against you, which makes me chuckle everytime.
If you disagree with me, please don't be rude as this is a friendly debate.

As well as provide evidence on how I am wrong, thank you!

EDIT: my second picture was broken, so I found a new one and adjusted my text accordingly.

1. First, assume the earth is a perfect sphere, and that its density is perfectly consistent. This would make it so that, no matter where on it you are, the gravitational pull would be toward its center. No matter where on the earth you dropped the ball, it would be as though you had dropped it on a perfectly flat, level surface. The ball would not roll. In other words, dropping a ball on a perfectly round earth would have the same effect as dropping it on a perfectly flat one.

Ok, so what would make the ball roll? Well, look at this:

You'll have to use your imagination a little bit here, so bear with me. The long blue line (the radius) points to the center of gravity, like in the last image. But, where the last image showed it connected to a tangential line, this one is different. The short blue line between the x axis and the radius is not perpendicular to the center of gravity. So extend it a little bit from the circle's surface. Say, to the far edge of the first box. Now, forget about the rest of the line inside the circle, and pretend that the little extension is a mountain, but one with a perfectly smooth side. Obviously, your ball will roll down the side. But the important thing here is that it is because gravity is pulling toward the center of our earth, and the mountainside is NOT in direct opposition to this pull.

Now, let's get real. The earth is not a perfect sphere (for now, though, assume it is at least roughly spherical), nor will whatever you drop on it be a perfect sphere. It would also be incredibly hard to find a flat surface that is perfectly tangential to its gravitational pull. But you don't need one. The earth is huge- so huge, in fact, that even if we look at miles of it all around us, it looks flat to us. This has to do with infinitesimals, and how taking smaller and smaller segments of an arc makes it look more and more like a straight line. Add in the friction that occurs between any two real objects, and there are plenty of places close enough to that perfect sphere so the ball won't roll.

2. This is simply not true. There are three photos, as far as I know, of the WHOLE earth from outer space. One from both 1967 and 1972, and one from 2015, plus a composite photo. However, there are plenty more partial shots from astronauts on the ISS or on shuttles.

3. Again, this goes back to infinitesimals, and how big the earth is. And, again, there are shots from astronauts where you can see part of earth's curvature. But I don't know what you're talking about the horizon always being "at eye level." That's not right.

4. This goes back to #1. Water is fluid, and will conform to its container. This means that, when on an imperfectly round earth with gravity pulling toward the center, it becomes best possible approximation of the perfect sphere I mentioned. And, because of earth's size (again!) it looks flat!

5. You're arguing that earth is flat, and you just posted a photo showing its curvature... Why did I even waste my time writing all of that? No offense, but are you trolling? That's the only reason I can think of for that photo to be in your post.

Hey, I live in Australia and they never show the USA and Australia on the same face. Does this mean I'm on the flip side and therefore my feet are biologically velcro?

You do know that there are places on earth that are so flat that you can see the curvature of the earth even in the USA there are places that are like this

Of course it does, the other side of the moon is the sun. Numb-nuts.
