I prefer Cyber Monday, as there is less fighting going on in a store.

But the advantage of Black Friday is you get the item you want immediately, while on Cyber Monday you usually have to wait for the delivery to be sent.

Which one do you prefer?

I don't ever participate in Black Friday. Getting up at the ass crack of dawn to go shove through people and save a few bucks on stuff I don't need or really want to buy for others? No thanks.

Cyber Monday is less brutal and doesn't infringe on your family holiday time; and while there's no instant gratification, at least you're going to get your stuff.

Even better is to forget about all of that and support small online sellers and local shops. Spend a little more and put the money back into your community.

Cyber Monday has always been better in my opinion. You don't have to go through the hustle and bustle of other shoppers being greedy and acting like a stampede of wild animals. Although you have to wait a few days for delivery, you still get the product you ordered in the end. Patience is a virtue as they say, a few extra days of waiting isn't going to kill you.

black Friday -- without having to go to the store

most black Friday deals will be available online 15+ hours before the stores

*this year around 10PM on 11/23 -- i ordered with i wanted and went to bed at 12AM

cyber Monday is nothing more but the last day of black Friday sale.. selling left overs from black Friday

if you have a smart phone with a secure internet connection you can pretty much do black Friday shopping wherever you are

I'm not into either. That's starting to become popular here though most times I'm happily oblivious to it. I happened to notice a fault in my laptop and since it's some years old I went to a shop that happen to have a week long black Friday sale, and got my new replacement. I went in and got it, no crowds, no rush. There's nothing I want so bad that I have to get there early, line up, push and shove just to get a desired item. I'm the same way with clothing.

Neither. I haven't found anything I want to buy. My christmas shopping is a failure this year, all the good stuff doesn't have a discount.

That's what the little "Edit" link in the upper right corner of your post is for. You don't need to make a new post--just edit the old one.

I do not really like shopping at any time of year. I have no desire whatsoever to spend Black Friday in crowds at physical stores.

Cyber Monday is for work (and for posting to CR during one's late lunch break; not for using company resources to shop online.)

I tend to cyberbrowse/shop a little on Friday-Sunday after Thanksgiving, but the bulk of my holiday shopping gets done later in a combo of online and "brick and mortar."

Cyber Monday, if I am forced to choose. Black Friday has always been a nightmare to me.
