I mean i was diagnosed with Autism when i was like 8 or so.

It's not the web's place to dictate that. Moreover, what his family does pertaining to his health should be kept private.
I was diagnosed as being clinically this and that as a child, not autistic, but other things. The problem is, the younger one is, the harder it is to determine the longevity or the severity of these things unless they're very apparent. Technically I was diagnosed with just clinical depression as a child, but many doctors first misdiagnosed me as being a severe ADD/ADHD case, a very common mistake at the time. Moreover, things began to blossom as I aged that had remained undetected or dormant before.

It's not easy to psychologically analyze a child. That's why the majority of my diagnosed mental issues were discovered when I was a teen. It's also nerve wracking to a child themselves to diagnose them so young. Makes them feel as if something's wrong with them wholly, not just a brain chemistry fart. The only reason I was dragged to a psych as a kid is because I tried to leap out a window. Doubt this kid has done something that drastic.

Just let him be a child for now.

well of course it should be a private affair but its better to get diagnosed whilst young.
If i wasn't diagnosed as a kid my life would have been a whole lot harder its because i was diagnosed that i was given the support i needed and understanding and therapy i needed.

i was diagnosed as adhd to start with but when i was like 7-8 it was changed to an Aspergers Diagnosis which is correct.

Kids probably not autistic. It was just a rude comment made by a rude woman (none other than Rosie O'Donnell apparently made the original insinuation with rude comments about the kid, alleging that he was autistic- and after that it spread on the web like wildfire because sites are either obsessed with being autistic or hating autists) attempting to cling to the coattails of relevancy. Shouldn't be considered seriously.

Just because a child looks incredibly wiped and has a few eye aversions and rollings during his father's acceptance speech at 3 fucking am doesn't mean he's automatically autistic. That's as pitiful as self diagnosis by your average tumblr user in attempt to seek attention, except Barron ain't self diagnosing here, it's Rosie tryna keep herself in the news.

It's fake. It's obvious that it is fake because the video was removed by the user. I am diagnosed with autism, but I think it is a misdiagnosis because I am literally insane and my symptoms could obviously fit in with any one of the mental illnesses I have (Which I make a point to control).

Who are you talking to? Nobody seems to be attacking anybody from what I've seen.

Because it's perfectly fine to suggest a 10yr old is autistic having only seen him standing on stage at 3am.

Well I wouldn't call it "fine" but it's sure as hell not abnormal for people to speculate about famous people and their children. Remember how much fervent speculation there was about malia Obama's choice of university? It's stupid and petty, sure, but it's certainly not an attack.

Well in that case, I wonder if Chelsea Clinton's kid will inherit that horse-face.

Edit: At the very least. I hope she is smart enough to keep Grandpa and his 'dirty' cigars away.

Again, false equivalence. You're comparing speculation of a mental health condition to an insult. I know some people use being autistic as an insult but

A.) Nobody on this thread seems to be doing that and from what I remember of the original article nobody was doing that there either. You may have seen reactions to this speculation that I haven't but nobody I've seen ask if the kid is autistic seems to be doing so maliciously.

B.) That isn't even insulting. Tons of people have autism and live completely normal lives. There is such a broad range of ways in which that shit can manifest that there's really no reason to take it like an insult if people think you have that (even if they're completely wrong and not going off of any actual diagnosable evidence like in this case)

Wondering and guessing that someone is autistic is not an attack. Wondering if Chelsea Clinton's child will look like her is, again, not an attack. Putting horse-face in it while wondering such a thing makes it into an attack. This shouldn't have to be explained to you. You are smart enough to know the difference.

I really hope a bunch of people speculate and attach mental-conditions to one of your children one day. See if you don't take it as an attack
