For used games, yes I do. I also like most people working there, they have been nothing but friendly and knew quite a lot about games, so it is nice to chat with them every once in a while.
But buy new games at gamestop? No. They are way overpriced.

I don't often have money to spend, but when I'm looking to buy games, I prefer local businesses. Bookmans is a really good store too, there's always a 50-50 chance that you'll get what you want, no matter how old or new the game is. But Gamestop? Only if I really, really need something. It's not that the service is bad, every one I've been to, the employees have been very nice and understanding. It's just how ripped off I feel after spending money there, and how little it feels like the company cares about it's bad reputation.

That being said, of course, they are a business. If they can make money off of this, I wish'em luck.

Ive only bought two games from there and that is all. I started to buy online, stream, or just go to the small gaming stores.

Nope. Only video games I ever played were Dragon Quest when I was 5 and a mario game that I don't know the name of on a road trip with my family when I was a kid. I bought some game that I believe was a waste of $8. If I ever went there, it would be to get W101 game cards.

No. I don't like pawn shops. I buy physical games from Amazon with Amazon Prime and digitalthrough the console stores or greenman/Steam.

digital is $60
physical places like costco and amazon will offer new games for $50 (no membership)
prime members will shave 20% the same for bestbuy gamer club unlock members so instead of $60 - it's $48

but the thing is even at $48-- the game company can still make a profit

it's still better than paying $60 for a game though..

Bestbuy Gamer Club unlock is $30 for 2 year-- 20% off new games and other benefits

i also rent games. .redbox $3/day -- games like COD/BF/ etc. can be beat in 1 day pretty much
Gamefly is also good.. $14/month for 2 out at a time for the first 3 months after that it's $22.95-- you can rent about 3-8 games a month on average (depending on how long you are keeping the game for)

As someone who previously worked there & was in management. When you get a case like that, the original cover art was damaged & that is the only paper we have for cover art. So yes its a new game, just without the original art.

I like to go in and do a little browsing but haven't bought anything from them in years though. I do games digitally, and before then just didn't really buy many games as I would of liked. Cute accessories despite being pricey

Sometimes, but here lately, I've just been buying games off Steam. But when I want a game on console, I have to have physical and Gamestop is one of the options, just depends.
