Whenever possible, would you rather take the elevator, escalator, or stairs?
Posted 11/28/16
If a building has an elevator, escalator, and stairs, which one are you prone to take?
Posted 11/28/16
I have a paranoia that if I take an elevator it'll get stuck on a high floor

Hopefully this thread doesn't escalate. What? Why are you stairing at me like that?

Stairs. Escalators used to scare me. They still do a little.....

99% of the time I would take the stairs, unless it's massively inconvenient. I'm into health and fitness and it's just one of those extra little things to do that promotes that. Folk who use elevators when travelling between very few floors....

Stairs, I always choose the option that's going to take me the longest time, I have no idea why. Also I hate Elevators.

Escalators are fun. Always hope to see tons of paper items stacking up where the stairsteps disappear but has yet to occur,

People in elevators often smell bad, are sick, or have stops separate to mine which bothers me since it reminds me that their existence alone slowed me down.

Stairs are alright.

Escalators! The proper median between not having to put in any effort and also not being slowed down by others as much.

Are you sure you don't mean Elevators?

What's scary about Escalators?

When I was a little kid I thought they were going to eat me when I stepped on. Like my shoestring would slip in, then my shoe, and so on. Especially if I hopped on one to go down. It's not really a strange fear for kids. I wasn't the only one.
