how is no one talking about how OBVIOUS it is now that there is a gun control agenda, for fuck sake HE HAD NO GUN

this is how it is with people

when you said "mass murder" or "terrorists" .. Guns will always come to mind first for them

even now just mentioning the word "weapons" will equal "guns"

terrorists attacks using bombs, cars, knives, etc.. will not be considered

remember the Nice terrorist attack? i think the terrorist had guns with him but he didn't kill anyone with them .. he just ran over people with a truck like some dead rising game. it's pretty sick

the problem is it's pretty hard to stop a determined criminal from committing a terrorist act.. especially when people are afraid of political correctness--thus preventing them from reporting

i think there was a case of some psycho who was ranting about killing people on Youtube and Facebook for months and no one reported him to the authority until he stabbed his roommate to death and started the rampage using knife and gun killing 6 people ?

if you see anything suspicious.. report it.. you might save a lot of lives in the process

The only difference I'd include is that there's no compromise on either side, so it's a debate that's never-ending. It's on par with abortions and other typical "socio-political" topics. At least show some respect for those who were injured. I know neither side are the type to concede their point, just that there are times and places for such a pointless discussion (as it's a zero-sum debate).

That's not entirely true. Support for things like universal background checks is, er, universal but it was still stopped by politicians bowing to lobbyists. So there are major things that both sides agree on but which run afoul not of the people but of politicians doing the bidding of their purse strings rather than their constituents.

Everything else is just noise imo. Noise designed to prevent both sides from comparing notes while the shitheels at the top keep doing what they're doing unimpeded.

Its no coincidence that the message is almost ALWAYS "so and so is coming to take your guns away" out of he mouth of every goblin in a suit after any suggestion of improving gun legislation. It paints both sides as extreme and prevents discussion, agreement and public pressure to actually accomplish something. For one side they are forever told that the other wants to round up all their guns by force. For the other side, they see the opposing leaders saying shit like that and assume that everyone on the other side is just as paranoid and irresponsible with firearms.

The end result is both sides view the other as extreme and cannot have a discussion even though in actuality they agree on many things. Meanwhile, the assholes at the top continue to benefit from the power and money that comes with holding their office and getting a reach around from lobbyists.

Its a style of politics that American politicians have sadly developed and refined into an artform over the last 40-50 years or so.

I mean, Obama has been supposedly coming to take your guns for the past 8 years yet oddly enough you still have them.

Also we already have a 'universal' background check called the form 4473...

CT had to register ar-15s after that one got invented live on the air by media questions and a curiously vacillating lieutenant

registration is a first step towards confiscation

they just cant get people to go along with dupe-sense gun "laws" because half or more of the crap they try to pull is illegal.

Second Amendment MFer....un alienable right. People seem to forget what unalienable means. Then again, too many people get that mixed up with inalienable.

I just see disrespect for the constitution. Its the law of the land, but the government spends most of its time trying to figure out how to get around it.

Berlin Attack Kills at Least 12
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijU5pzYfbpQ

i guess .it didn't take long..

soon or later these terrorists will realize it that it's a lot cheaper to just hijack a semi or use pressure cookers instead of going out buying guns..

i think more control is needed on these type of vehicles-- maybe finrgerprint of the driver required to start ?
