All the article is really saying is that there are some experts who believe the Russians launched a propaganda campaign against Hillary in this election. It certainly doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me, considering how much conflicting information has been circulating in the US lately, but I really couldn't say how much credibility these experts have in making this claim.

in other words, they cherry-picked some "experts" who share their view on Trump. typical of WP tbh.
i think WP used to be good a few eons ago, but it now relies on cherry-picked data and click-bait articles, which is quite sad.

I think improving relations with Russia and averting war with them in and of itself is worth the Trump victory.

There's really no going back at this point, anyway. We should be preparing for the future rather than whining about the past.

US won't stop whining because profit.

US news media writes a click-bait trigger article that reinforces the already prevalent opinion on something people feel strongly about
-> tons of online traffic -> ad revenue (profit) -> the cycle continues ad infinitum

Washington Post is almost certainly cherry-picking which "expert" opinions they choose to publish, but when I said that I couldn't verify the experts' credibility, I did not mean to imply that they obviously don't have any. To be fair, the article describes in pretty good detail what sorts of analysis were used by the researchers who came up with these findings and even links to the report released by one of the two groups. The article itself is actually quite good, regardless of the validity of the experts' claims.

Welp, add the Washington post to the long list of "news" outlets I'm not going to be giving credence to from now on. Why does everything surrounding this election have to be soaked in stupidity?

They proved themselves as a fake news site 4+ months ago. They have negative credibility.

Your wrong about something though. It's not this election that is soaked in stupidity but these people/organizations themselves. Before the election they could hide the fact that they were corrupt, biased, propaganda machines (well from some people). Now they can't even hide it and they know it so they are doubling down. You are seeing the Reality of things.

So do you take the red pill (reality) or the blue pill (blissful ignorance)?

Just curious if these are the same "experts" who predicted Hillary would. Those "experts" have been wrong a lot lately.

Work together with us Trump supporters and help make sure he makes america great again! He is literally kept up by his supporters and no one else, as you seen during the election. We all need to help him steer this nation to a better path because if he succeeds we succeed!

He's stoked on being the most important man in the world and he can keep that title for 8 years if he does well. Help us help our nation!

"Freedom of Press" does not equal "They are smart."

Use your own brains, read around and figure out what is the truth you believe in, because in the end, that's really what matters.

1920s? Just look at Obama's foreign policy...and that of both of his Secretaries of State.

Oh you mean the shit storm foreign policy that was dumped in their lap by the fucking retard that was in office before him? Is that the foreign policy you were talking about?

Peaceful transfer of power is a core value of the constitution. Complain as people might, they're going to need to live with this for 4 years. Your obligations don't go away just because Trump is president. You still need to pay your taxes and go to school and clean your house. People are seriously overreacting and it's doing far more harm than good. He's not even in office yet.

Not everyone gets what they want when they leave things up to an election.

Putin is one of the most volatile leaders and Russia is powerful. You probably want to try to work things out to avoid war, which is one of the most costly things for any nation.

Ain't that the Truth.... I've been low energy and didn't really care for the past 3 presidental elections. Either one was horrible. This is the first election I actually LIKE a candidate. He might not be perfect but hes leagues above every other choice I've had, besides ron paul but they did to him what they tried doing to trump and was successful.

It's ok, WaPo has zero credibility at this point.

I give the local middle school student newspaper more credibility over any trash WaPo writes.
