I have a few memories of pre school and kindergarten, but my first day of first grade was memorable as it was the second day of school. My immunization records got lost in the move from Germany and I spent a day getting immunized. So on my "first" I got paraded in front of the class and introduced as the new kid, and cried. Looking back, I think that was my first anxiety attack. 30 sets of eyeballs focused on me was just so overwhelming.

I can't remember my first day at nursery because I was 2 though I do have some memories at home being that age. They usually started nursery from the age of 3. Big sis had started and came and told me all about it. I thought it sounded so good that I begged mother to go. She asked the nursery if they'd have me and they agreed. I didn't share very well then. I got there and horded all the toys in a corner for myself and attacked any of the 3 year olds who tried to get past me for the toys.

All I remember was waiting to go home because I was bored. I might have been chasing the boys with the girls too during the entire "girls have cooties" game but I'm not too sure if that was the first day.

I remember my first day of college.

Kindergarten is going too far back.

My earliest school memory is of punching some kid in the face because he tried to take my toy truck.... it was my truck... I brought it from home... he didn't even ask... just tried to take it.... he got a thwippin fistful of justice in his face.

I wasn't being a bully... I was dispensing vigilante justice!

Surprisingly no. I explained my actions to the teacher and mi madre when she came to get me. They both said I should have said something instead of taking action, but I suffered no repercussions.

I don't even remember my first day of school.

I did ask my mother and she said everything was going smoothly until I pulled a kids hair when she touched my hair on the first day and I had to sit out in the hall because I screamed at her to not touch my hair. And then apparently, the same girl tried to apologize to me and I slapped her.

Jesus... Who crapped in my cereal?

I remember on the first day of kindergarten, I became friends with this guy named Tom, and he always had a bloody nose. And he bled all over me We ended up being best friends, and played Lincoln logs together. Then I found out that he lived close to me. And I would sleep over at his house all the time. But then I moved.

i was expecting the "happily ever after" type of story for a moment

i'm going to put "up" in and watch it again

I was okay. I enjoyed it. I remember my neighbor also went to the same class and I watched him cry and try to unlock the door for several minutes after his mother left.

i am not lying nor i making it up it's all true.

my first day of school was when i was 5 and in prep ( level before year one, I don't know what school levels are like in other countries ) for the first week or so we have half days at school to get used to school, during first break on the first day the students where let out to the school playground, from what i understand, during the first break i decided that the school play ground was boring so i convinced other preps to go with me to a much cooler playground that was a main road, three sets of lights and about a fifteen minute walk away from the school. about six other preps and i, walked straight out the school gate. the police and parents got called to the school when they realised that they missing some little ones, we walked back to the school about three to four hours after we had left because i was hungry and wanted lunch. lucky me didn't even get in trouble, though was only at that school for a short amount of time

( oh and i'm Australian )
