There really wasn't too much shown that truly excited me, especially if you only look at stuff I wasn't already excited about. Horizon, Last Guardian, Edith Finch and Ni-Oh were already on my "want it now" list. Gravity Rush 2 and Nier 2 were already on my "you have my interest list." My opinion on them hasn't changed at all but they were already known quantities to me so they were more shoulder shrugs than anything else.

Beyond that I can say I'm actually at least a litte interested in an Uncharted game now that Nathan Drake isn't the star and Vane looks very cool (I'm pretty sure I'd seen Vane before but it didn't stick in my brain).

Don't get me wrong, Sony has a strong line up this year to be sure but PSX2016 went by without really wowing me at all. I was also kind of surprised how little they showed of PSVR titles. For a new piece of hardware they should be pushing hard they barely pushed it at all.

not that many gamers own a PSVR

i didn't watch the last E3 event .. beside PS4 slim and PS4 pro announcement most of the games they showed are new to me

one thing i noticed this time around is the PSvita.. Sony didn't really bring it up for how many years now?

so seeing some developer going on stage while holding it

and yet you can't find a New PSvita at your local store at all!

what's the point of releasing games for it when you can't even find the system in stores .. :?

Most of the people who want (or wanted) a PS Vita already have one. At this point I doubt they are trying to win over potential new owners for the handheld; they're likely just wanting the current user base to be somewhat happy that they are still making games for it.

there are late owners.. i just got my PS4 slim so i also want a vita but i can't find it anywhere (beside some third party merchants online)

if they are not going to restock then might as well do the same thing as Nintendo with the Wii-U--

but i don't think Sony will release another portable.. if yes it's might be a mobile focus system that will play mobile games + ps games

I have a Vita and love it, but you're right that it's hard to find a new one these days. I keep hoping that Sony, at the least, releases a new model of the Vita at some point, maybe with built in memory so that you're not stuck paying stupid prices for the memory cards. As it is, most of what is available for the Vita is already being released digital only with special collectors editions being the only physical releases. Of course in Japan you find more physical copies of Vita software on store shelves than for any other hardware so it's really just in North America where the system is struggling. All told, it was definitely nice to see Sony at least mention the Vita this time around even if it was basically just "Hey, here's a game for another system that's coming to Vita too!"

And I get that not many people own a PSVR at this point but if Sony has nothing to show to get prospective owners interested in buying one then no one will want one. It's not like PSVR is the only VR hardware on the market so by not pushing it they're just letting it fall behind the competition. Especially with the hardware issues PSVR owners have mentioned it's really feeling like Sony may have pushed the PSVR out the door before it was ready./

new model? like the PS vita Super slim?

i think the PS vita slim has a built in memory-- 1GB

it would be funny if someone yelled out right there and then at PSX "where can we buy a Vita"? after they announced the games will also be available for the vita

Day 2 of PSX- was pretty much about interviews.. they talked about a few PSVR games.

the system is new so you can't expect a lot of games out for it.

honestly, this is the problem with being early adopters.. once you went through all those 20+ games they released along with the system? it will be drought season from there

of the 20+ games they released.. i doubt that all the PSVR owners will buy them all

since it could be just 3-5 games to that a particular owner interested in

this is why i didn't join the current gen until this black friday

the PS4 slim was $212 (NEW +no tax).. the games are $8-$10.. this is how i always get a new system with 20+ games -- then pretty much will be busy for the next 12+ months
