Comic Books. I used to read everything. I would spend $100 a month on comics. Now I don't read anything. Part of it is because I'm losing storage space and if I kept it up I'd have nowhere to store them.

Gaming has taken a big ht in the last 2 years. I find it hard to get motivated to play a video games. If I do play a game I do the bare minimum and rarely ever 100% complete a game. I often play on easy just because I don't care for a challenge anymore.

Gaming. Used to play a character, max it to the end, then start all over with another character until all were maxed out. The challenge just seems pointless now. I'd rather join a group for quick play that doesn't require too much time invested.

I would say the same. Gaming isn't there and yet it is.

I think that's a thing that comes with growing up or just getting older.
You start to like things you never liked and start to loose interest in some things you liked haha

MMORPGs. I used to love them. I still have some love for them left but I just can't get myself to go back anymore. It's been fun doing raids, leading guilds, being one of the top PvP players, completing legendary items, hunting rare drops, etc. Even when I play games now, I can only do maybe an hour max at a time.

Shopping for furniture, however, now THAT is fun! Just came from IKEA today to buy a new huge garbage can, a few wall shelves, some new baskets, and new lighting for the bathroom.

I would have my ups and downs when It came to drawing, for a couple months I'd be really motivated to improve and learn different techniques and there would be times when I can't be bothered to draw at all.

Drawing. I mean i loved it as a kid like we all do and i went through a "trying to learn to draw manga" phase but i haven't drawn for many years.
rapping, writing rhymes, recording songs, making beats Me and my mates used to rap alot. We would spend so much time writing rhymes and freestyling and some of us made beats. We used to record tracks on tapes. I started making beats with fruity loops lol.
I still occasionally write rhymes but its rare and usually a drunkard piss take on facebook.
grafetti was only a phase for me and i got into it kinda late compared to most. I got good at tagging but i was never that good at doing actual art work with it.
It caused me alot of problems also with rival crews..
Video games i still love them and iam still a big gamer but i now almost only soley play western RPG's and FPS games like Battlefield.
I used to love platform games, fighting games, RTS games and JRPG's but now i barely play any of those at all.
smoking weed after i quit i didn't touch it at all for years. Now i have some on the odd rare occasion. I may go through a little light phase again but then will not touch it again for ages.
Playing pokie machines. Went through a phase.
Going out drinking in the city as far as going out to get drunk and stay out all night. I usually only head in now to eat or play pool or have a few drinks. Go see a show or sport or concert or something.
I guess to an extent playing pool/8ball i still love the game but i used to play it all the time. Played competitively and just loved it. Now i still like it but i dont play often.
having heaps of friends/associates i used to like being part of an extended circle and being "down" lol now i couldn't care less about such things and if anything avoid people lol
I saw someone wrote Girls well i wouldn't go that far lol but i dont go out and try to pick up at all really these days..

But as others have said, alot of that is to do with getting older and growing up. And also lack of time and lack of funds and being too tired and lazy half the time as well lol

EDIT: i guess hentai as well. i used to watch it alot
Oh and i went through a collecting anime figurines phase too. Feel silly thinking back to all that money i spent on em.
I guess you could throw in console gaming. The PC took over many years ago.

And this is why I can't figure out what to do later in life

When I was in my 20's I always wanted the sleekest muscle / European sports vehicle made. Wallet always overrode ego. My parent always got a new vehicle every 2 years, 4 when she got into her sixties. Me now: bought a SUV new 1997 with whistles & bells, still drive it with no desire trading it in for a 7 year old pre-own SUV (prices of new ones are out of the question).

Used to want to be a float plane aviator. Move to Alaska or stay in western Washington back in the day. Never got the aviator license. Actually, after owning an 18-wheeler for almost 10 years before finally dropping out my desire to possess any large piece of equipment faded into oblivion exponentially as each month being without passed. Still possess zero desire to own anything excessively large that has tires.

Used to fish a lot age 6 to adulthood. Never owned a boat. Always went out with a relative or friend who did. That interest died mid-thirties. Never hunted. Tropical fish phase ended by age 17.

Used to photograph freight trains for a hobby. Did that from ages 15-63. It got me all over US and most of Canada hiking out into the wilderness looking for calendar shots (35mm slide film). Had many friends who did this also. Great fun. Then I married, moved to an area with minimal train traffic, aged, lost interest in railfanning account no variety and heightened sensitivity about picture-taking on properties not owned by me since 9-11.

Current major expense is collecting anime figurines. Now that prices average $100 each this hobby acquisition phase will diminish significantly by mid-2017 as hobby is no longer affordable.

Only life-long hobby is being butler to pet cats. Mother liked 'em and my exposure to cats is life long. Wife likes cats but she is a dog lover at heart. I try to tolerate the dog (she is a good dog) but this animal doesn't listen. I suggest "Run away, please" every time I let her out in the backyard. Darn dog won't listen, always wants to come back in with tail wagging. My wife calls her by a chosen name, I call her "neighbor's dog". Have off-handedly tried to give dog away to postal carrier, garbage guy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law but my wife won't hear of it.....boo hoo.

Used to really be into old & new movies that had substance (Criterion Collection / Janus films) from teen to age 60. Not really into that anymore. Used to be in antiques, eclectic and otherwise up until a few years ago. Now I'm doing my level best downsizing, shedding.

On the fence about anime. Some of it is stellar; some is pure crap. I'll go through stages of like / dislike the venue but usually bounce back after a 3 month hiatus.

Marriage? No, have not lost interest here. After being single for a very long time, after making as many mistakes as there are to make on the dating scene, no. I found a keeper........and I know it.
