Thanks to a tip from eyeofpain, I've confirmed that Amazon UK has these 3 series available for their Prime Video subscribers. It appears these may also be available on their service in Germany.

I hope to god these come to the US also. AFAIK, this is the first StrikerS has been legally available in the west, much less with English subtitles.

Sadly, they probably won't have them for the US. Unlike the 3 anime series they are currently simulcasting on their UK service (which they've confirmed to ANN will eventually be available in the US), there would be little reason to delay these 3, given that they are already complete.

For those that wish to see for themselves (or are lucky enough to live in the UK [or apparently Germany also] and have Prime Video):

The original series:

A's:

I meant to say "probably won't have them for the US" instead of "don't", as I had already checked. I've corrected that now.

I have yet to watch anything beyond A's as Strikers and beyond has never been licensed. Hopefully this will come to Amazon in the US, but those guys there just seem to not give a damn as they say that they have The Great Passage, but they haven't done anything yet in regards to getting them out. And there's still Vivid that has yet to be licensed, and I would have to think that it should be coming soon.

They've confirmed to ANN that Great Passage, Vivid Strike!, and Chi's Sweet Adventure will stream on the US service, but gave no information on when that might be:

Frankly, I would love a statement like that about these Nanoha series (especially StrikerS). The problem is Amazon has a "reason" for holding up those 3 simulcast series for the US; They aren't complete yet. That isn't true in this case, however. The only other reason that comes to mind is if they were also wanting to do a dub, but if that were the case, why would they think the subtitles only would be good for the UK while the US would require a dub? (I also believe Amazon going to that expense for older series is far fetched).

On the other hand, if their license actually also covered the US, why wouldn't they post them here? I wouldn't make sense to have the rights to something and not exercise it in a large market. If a year from now we still don't have any of these 3 series in the US, I believe we could conclude with some confidence Amazon's license didn't include North America.

On a personal front, the good news is my US credentials work for signing on to Amazon UK. The bad news is it doesn't recognize my Prime status, so even using a proxy or VPN wouldn't give me access.

By the gods! Why does amazon never advertise these kinds of things? Thanks for heads up, looked and right enough they're there for us in the UK alright.

Something else they've now got at least outside of Pokemon and Avatar for retro viewing lol

while this is awesome and leaves the potential for the US to get it, I really want to see all of the franchise released on bluray in the US

Not yet for the US, but apparently coming in the near future:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-01-12/amazon-u.s-adds-placeholder-pages-for-scum-wish-onihei-the-great-passage-anime/.110911

The Expanse had a similar page for a while (close to 2 weeks, as I recall) last month before it actually became available. Hopefully we'll have all these available by the beginning of February.

Personally, I've already bookmarked this page for StrikerS:

These are the links for the placeholder pages for the earlier two series:

The link for Vivid Strike!:

At least the US gets Amazon Prime Video. In Canada they sold the rights to two companies, one of which has already gone belly up and neither of which seem interested in streaming anime. Unused streaming rights are the WORST!
