Okay so I just finished watching the first FMA + the movie. It's a pretty sad series. About as sad as I remember. But the saddest thing of all is how

Well the original FMA is "troll" in terms of, we waited a whole year just to see Al gone. It leaves a bitter, gritty taste and texture in your mouth. It was not pleasant.

Yeah, she got a hug, but then, nope, we leave again. *did I punctuate this right?*

Yep. Five seconded hug, puts some new automail on him then watches him haul ass... That's Bones for you though. Their first anime had the same type of ending...

It goes a little, I think. The debate of which is better. Subjectively, I do not want a salty ending. I think a lot of earlier works, not bones related, are the salty ends.

It is that 90's early 00's era of sad anime.
