You better be good at baking as you'll have a lot of competition. I pass three bakeries in my 20 minute walk to the train station in the morning (suburbs) and another 6 within a minute of leaving my train at the other end (city centre).

I can be pretty creative, I'll probably need to use the bathroom a few times (with riding a bike), but I'll get there

Bakeries generally do well, as long as you can bake to a high standard and set up in an area with high footfall it should be successful. Being near a transport hotspot would be the ideal location, plenty of commuters should be drawn in with the smell of baked goods and the sheer number of potential customers walking past should lead to a healthy number of sales in the morning/lunchtime rushes

I mean, i doubt most people here have a ton of business sense, but I can give my thoughts. If you open up a bakery in a neighborhood that has no such thing, you're going to get some sales. More so if you make a great product. Don't even get me started on fresh pastries in the morning.

It all comes down to location and demand.

I mean, It's entirely up to you what you want to do. If you want to run a small bakery Ala Clannad, knock yourself out. Doesn't seem so bad to me.

If you're asking for just business advice, there are better places than here.
