So a few days ago a brand new MMORPG was announced, and the company behind it was created
in a fairly unsual way.

"Intrepid Studios was founded by a gentleman named Steve who goes by his in game tag “Sorcerer”. He is a guild leader of the multi-game guild The White Order which saw great popularity in ArcheAge and other games. After being tired of pay to win games and not finding the game he wanted to play, Sorcerer, who has seen great success in the world of business, handed The White Order over to another member and set off on a journey to see how viable it was for him to make his own MMO.

Luckily for him, he began his journey at a time when a few well known studios had to close due to “failed” projects. He was able to get a facility and recruit over 30 team members from Everquest 1, 2, and Next/Landmark, Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of War, and many many more. He recruited them with the intention of creating an MMO that wants to come into its own without the over hanging ‘cash grab’ that many publishers push. This is why they landed on the sub model with no box price. No initial cash grab, sustained income to support the game’s development."

The game has has only been in development for 3 months, and so far looks good for a 3 month old game
that isnt even offically in an Alpha stage yet. Many things like player models and combat will be heavily
altered and changed yet so take the game footage below as merely early access content.

You can sign up for a chance to get in the alpha when it starts later next year

Right Here

And here is a link the the offical Q&A regarding details of the game.

Could be an amazing game, could fail immensely, but its worth keeping an eye on and see how it progresses over the next few months atleast.
