I had decided to make the jump in joining Crunchyroll because I had found my interest piqued about anime on Netflix. I began watching Samurai Champloo, Bleach, Fairytail and Naruto in English dubs. I eventually stopped listening to dubs and go for the subs but regardless, I'm looking for intriguing anime besides the typical male protagonist gets showered in affection by large breasted females. The animes I'm currently watching on Crunchyroll are JoJo's and Cowboy Bepop.

Parasyte -the maxim-, Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter

If you're okay with Slice of Life/Drama/Comedy, Your Lie in April, Usagi Drop, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.

And, even if you're not into sports, Kuroko's Basketball, Haikyuu!!, Yowamushi Pedal.

Bungo Stray Dogs - All the characters in the show are named after authors and their powers are named after a book, story or poem that they wrote. Just as fun to google as it is to watch.

Anime you can actually watch on CR.

Fate Zero /dubbed or sub. The English dub is actually very good , but you can't beat the original cast

The pet girl of Sakurasou, overall one of the more polished animes, light hearted with just the right amount of reality to keep you on tilt, playing with your emotions.

Akame Ga Kill!....... enough said - http://www.crunchyroll.com/akame-ga-kill

Durarara the style is irresistible. The story is breathtaking, it flows, they take you deeper into the characters. Just watching every single step that is taken, every piece being moved . http://www.crunchyroll.com/durarara

Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they? A shame that this is the shortest series with just 10 episodes, but I loved the concept. It's fun, it's refreshing, maybe it tries to mix in more than they can chew, but Dammit! I wanted more.

There's more, but for now these are very useful.

Go watch Kaiji! Both seasons are streaming on CR and it's easily tied for my favorite series of all time. It's about a guy named Kaiji who spends his life in a dirty apartment and loses money on gambles often. One day this loan shark tells him that he owes an insane debt because of a dumb agreement he signed to a friend years ago. The loan shark tells him he can erase it in one night by competing in a high-stakes gamble. Literally every episode had me on the edge of my seat with my palms sweating. The series does an amazing job of creating this sense of tension, uncertainty, and fear in the viewer to the point you feel like you're in the main character's position. It has a unique art style, a fantastic villain, and really creative gambles that are either original games or crazy twists on well-known ones. ^_^
