Even if it's offensive, who cares?

Evidently enough people for it to get into the CBA.

Y'know, some might see a difference between a locker room of baseball players asking you to dress up in a ballet tutu, and a prison break-room of guys asking you to dress up in a ballet tutu, but...

And I just banned myself from watching baseball. Though that only means I won't attend family events of going to a baseball stadium with MLB affiliation.

Maybe I might be able to convince the rest of my family, but my grandparents and their friends are already super hard Seattle Seahawks and Mainers fans. Ya... Guess more LCS and MLG streaming for me:P

Baseball is so boring to watch anyway. Only worth it for the aura of attending a game in person, and even then, 100 other sports do it better.

I don't agree with the ban but hazing seems really freaking weird.

Good for them. Guys shouldn't be forced to dress up as women unless they want to. Not as some stupid hazing ritual. I'm guessing the ban also covers more harmful hazing and bullying practices which is good as well. There are a lot of kids from elementary to high school who watch sports and they get a lot of their behavior while in sports teams and sometimes other activities from watching how the players act, on and off the field. With this ban then it sends a more positive message about what's allowed during sports and promotes a better attitude about it as a whole.

But requiring players “to consume alcoholic beverages or any other kind of drug, or requiring the ingestion of an undesirable or unwanted substance (food, drink, concoction)” is banned under the new collective bargaining agreement.

That seems like a more key part of this than the dress up part. But hey, doesn't get as many clicks and putting the word "offensive" in quotation marks.

Personally, I think hazing is wrong. "Offensive" or not, people shouldn't haze each other anyways.
