I am not entirely sure how it works with mainland Europe, but Aniplex's announcement said it would be streaming on Daisuki as well. It may be available for the rest of Europe on there? (someone please correct me if this isn't how Aniplex USA licenses usually work)

Per http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-12-28/daisuki-to-stream-tales-of-zestiria-the-x-2nd-season/.110432:

Daisuki also announced the region information for Fate/Grand Order: First Order and Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga. Fate/Grand Order: First Order will stream with English subtitles in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Latin America, and all European countries except for Italy and German- and French-speaking countries. Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga will stream in the United States, Canada, Oceania, and Europe. The anime will premiere on Daisuki on December 31 and January 6, respectively.

Ah ok thanks, so I guess my suspicions were (mostly) correct after all.

Not so sure about Rewrite. The show literally ended Season 1 with all of humanity turning to ash/disappearing to the Song of Destruction while the main character(s) got absorbed into the giant tree. Are they going to play that off as one giant dream or something? Like the first few episodes of the season where it was like taking weed through a bong filled with coffee and rose peddles. Crazy.

I may be wrong, but as far as I am aware, Rewrite S2 will be an adaptation of a different route of the Visual Novel (i.e. it'll be kind of a retelling of the same story but with major plot differences).

For those of you in Europe, all of the shows so far not available here, which so far is most of them will be on Daisuki. They already have Rewrite season 1 and have announced Ao no Exorcist and Fate/Grand Order. Also it's free/ad-supported with up to 1080p quality if you sign up for an account. Hoping for some good ones on here for Europe in the coming weeks, prefer watching my shows here.

Just a heads up for those of you in Europe who prefer to watch anime through legal sources that support the creators of the shows.

Looks like we should gear up for a bad season, looks like there isn't really anything interesting this season being released in Japan. Spring 2017 is going to be an epic season starting in April.

Who has season 1 of Blue Exorcist in the UK? Might check it out (season 1) to see if it appeals. Down to 4 shows on my queue so need to get stuck into more

I am not surprised to see that CR didn't get the rights for the Aniplex titles in Europe again. I guess Wakanim and Akiba Pass will show them in France and Germany. And for the other regions it will be on Daisuki for free

Aniplex of not-America at it again, forcing the rest of us to go to Daisuki. Well, it's better than no legal streaming.

Manga Entertainment released it on disc in the UK, which based on licensing patterns means they are likely, though not certain, to hold the rights for it in all of 'english-speaking europe' (UK, Ireland, usually including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, sometimes Finland and sometimes the Netherlands). Sadly, Manga has a history of not allowing their titles to be streamed (ask a UK fan about One Piece and prepare for the rage), and even when they do, UK companies who end up with scandinavian rights do not usually bother to use those rights for anything, even if they do stream in the UK. You can buy the discs on Amazon, though.

The alternative answer is that Blue Exorcist is unlicensed in Finland, which as we saw with the Funimation titles might be the case even if Manga Entertainment has the rights to it in the rest of Scandinavia. Or Finland is packaged with some other as of yet unknown region of europe due to odd licensing traditions, and the rights are with another company that isn't using them.

In general, anime is only on Netflix in Scandinavia if it's a show Netflix themselves have licensed (so 'originals' - Ajin, Knights of Sidonia, Seven Deadly Sins, 'Glitter Force', soon to be Little Witch Academia). In other regions, licensing companies put their shows on Netflix (which is why Netflix USA has so much anime - it's coming from Aniplex, Funimation, Pony Canyon, etc.) Since afaik Scandinavia doesn't have any anime licensing companies anymore, there is nobody to put anime on Netflix, and the US and UK companies who sometimes accidentally end up with Scandinavian rights have no incentive to put shows up for a region they don't usually serve.

TL;DR It's probably Manga Entertainment, don't expect anime to be on Netflix Finland outside of Netflix 'originals'.

You remember this Studio 4c animes in netflix? They never showed up in Netflix Finland even tho they said that they are available worldwide.
in daisuki when I get ads they are ALWAYS War thunder or world population ads and that is starting to be really annoying.

In Daisuki I can watch Blue Exorcist season 2 but not season 1

I've no chance then sadly. Work and family means no chance of marathoning in that short a space of time. Thanks for heads up.
