TV anime adaptation of Inuyashiki (Noitamina) announced today.
Coming for Fall 2017, based on the manga. Studio is MAPPA.

Okay, lemme read add to that what the anime site says.

Gets awesome power, and becomes a superhero. Same guy involved in the accident, Shishigami Hiro, uses the power he gets to do whatever he wants. Are humans intrinsically good or evil?

... Well okay. Not sure if that sounded more interesting.

To do whatever he wants................. alright then. I can then assume that there isn't just one of these so called accidents. Are humans good or evil? Gee I have no clue, construct a man back to life without Emotion? His memories wiped? Why? For what purpose. It's bad enough you take such an average lifestyle, aND then you throw him back into the world as a machine, so why even have the whole back story of having a family that doesn't like him. You can just simply open the anime up with him walking his dog with pointless monologue. " my dog is the only one who cares about me" Boom! He's dead, even then that's a stretch, but still better than having some pointless family behind him.

I'm trying to envision this as I go, and I can only determine that there is absolutely no point in watching this anime.

Honestly when there is the first episode. I'll watch just to prove a point, or somehow be absolutely wrong about everything

Good god I knew this would get an anime. It's the Gantz guy's manga...

So does anyone know if this is going to be a full adaptation? The manga seems to be almost over now (probably a few more chapters, just because the author moves at snail-like pace now) and if the total length is some 80 chapters it's feasible to make it in a couple cours, perhaps cutting away some stuff, considering how many chapters are just pictures and little more.

I think this might be enjoyable, I mean right now the story in the manga has taken rather the absurd turn , but it's not like it won't be fun to see all this animated.

A man who was basically treated like shit, and had nothing to live for, being seen as someone useless, they show the world that everyone can have a second chance to show everyone their worth in society. What may look like someone old and frail, can surprise even the strongest of people.


Oh, and don't forget about aliens.... something about aliens. Don't worry, it's no spoiler to me
