On my computer only, I am noticing the issue in the title. If I turn off subtitles there is no issue. Once they are on they cause a distracting micro-pause in the video itself. This seems to be a new issue and it's happening on Edge and Chrome. I've tried it on a few different anime with different resolutions and it doesn't seem to matter. In older Bleach episodes I tried watching several episodes that I skipped around in at 480p and noticed the problem happening consistently. I also have it on HD resolutions on newer episodes of anime like One Piece and most noticeably Fairy Tail (which isn't that new). My PC isn't exactly a powerhouse but it isn't a slouch either, with 16GB RAM and a GTX960.

Just looking for some help with it. I know the issue is with something on my computer and not the service but I need a place to start. I've seen this has happened before to other users and the fix was always mentioned of toggling subtitle smoothing but that no longer exists. I've noticed it both with hardware acceleration off and on as well.

Thanks.

EDIT: Just a little update, the Chain Chronicle promo vid that was just uploaded to the CR Facebook page using Facebooks player does not have any stuttering at all when rendering subs, so it's just the CR player causing this.

Such excellent support on this site. A month to the day and not so much as a response. As soon as there is another convenient way to watch One Piece subs that isn't the Funimation site (which is somehow worse) I'm gone. For now I'm using the app on the exact same computer without an issue. Stop using Flash for your web player.
