Sometimes I get an itch to play a new game. So I just go out and buy something.

Besides that not really. I went to a comic-con last week and walked out without buying anything for myself.

Sometimes but only on occasion.

More often than not, yes. It's a bad habit that I am trying to get rid of.

i hate these coupons they are giving out

$25 off $100/$200/$250 purchase?

it's a reason that will trigger the impulse buy for some people!

if you can use that coupon on the black friday price on the items you need then it's great.. but buying stuff you don't need just because you for a coupon available

this tactic works well.. which is why they keep doing this..

If you don't get it, you'll regret it.

No offense taken, qualeshia3. Feel free to post what you wish. I won't flame up / out / over what is said.

Actually, I don't have the consumptive desires I had when chronologically younger. I no longer desire to have a nice sports or muscle car, 2nd or 3rd home somewhere in northern Arizona, BC Canada, eastern Washington; 300mm f / 2.8 lens for a slide film SLR camera; Kenworth or Peterbilt conventional with a 525 hp Caterpillar engine, etc.

Thanks for the uplift. ^ ^

Re-gifting! Or, I guess, in this case, it would be gifting. Some of my impulse buys I'll use and then sell when I get tired of it, then I don't really lose too much.

Yes and no. I'm impulsive with online purchases but I plan my in person purchases with great caution.

Same here. I don't fall for "fake" sales and especially avoid all end caps. I could care less how good of a price on something is. If I don't need it (if it's not on my list then I don't need it) then I don't buy it. The ONLY exception to the rule used to be on alcohol. A drunk just can't pass up a good deal on liquor but since I haven't had a drink in over 15 years that last little bug has been squashed. Still, I like to look at alcohol and see what kinds of deals are out there even if I can't drink it anymore. I guess old habits die hard.
