Something about voting and 2016 is just terrible :phew:

I would've preferred Showa Genroku.

Rakugo was the sleeper hit of the year. I just randomly watched it one day and it turned out to be amazing.

That said, Sweetness and Lightning probably takes the cake for me, but mostly because I'm just a sucker for that type of thing. Of the options in the poll, I'd give a +1 to Mob Psycho 100 and a -1 to ReZero.

Fails for no 91 Days, which was genius. Or Showa Rakugo...

I voted for Erased, though almost all of this list was great: Haikyuu, YOI, Osomatsu...

Pretty good list there, but there were a couple of questionable inclusions. While it is a great show, I wouldn't consider Flip Flappers to be a Top 10 show over the likes of 91 Days, Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju, AssClass, Food Wars, or ReLife. It definitely is one of the best surprises of the year, but it's not quite in the same league as those heavyweights. And while Mr. Osomatsu was a good time to be had, a Top 10 show, that it is does not exactly fit the bill. I definitely agree with most of the list as Erased, Re:Zero, Yuri on Ice, and Haikyuu are all awesome, and while I haven't gotten to Diamond is Unbreakable, I'm currently watching the first season of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, so I'll get there eventually.

It's not a ranking. They're choices for the poll.

I voted JoJo (of course) but agree with others that Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu should have been on the list. There was little buzz about it but it was outstanding.

I picked Re: Zero as my #1, while not perfect it was a great journey as Subaru really developed into a likable character, even though those middle episodes were rough, the payoff was worth it.

MHA was great, but seriously wanted Deko to be like Batman and not have powers, but use his wits and all his hero knowledge to defeat the Bad Guys.

-Erased dropped the ball on the Finale and needed 5-6 more episodes to properly develop the killers arc and final showdown in the manga, if it had done that, it would have been my #1 pick hands down.
