Just bought it on rightstuf, better deal since you get the DVDs too. Thanks for starting the thread I guess, $25 for any known anime series is a good deal, especially a 2 cour.

Picked up welcome to the NHK off the same site for only $13. I only buy anime when its on sale though since full price for a lot of series can run you $60 at best, $200-300 at worst.

$200-$300.. what's the anime company that is notorious with their pricing

i'm trying to recommend some series i watched to a friend but the dubbed version is too expensive to get.. even after many years later

since he's a fan of mech series..

Aniplex of America.

Right now, it's going to cost you $178.35 to get the whole series from Right Stuf: http://www.rightstufanime.com/category/Blu~ray?keywords=gurren%20lagann.

pretty much any anime series licensed by Aniplex will be out of reach for most anime fan due to their cut throat price..

Any time I see Aniplex is the license holder for a given series, I'm like guess I won't be buying that one then.

Love or hate Funimation's website, at least gotta give them credit for not sending us to the poor house when buying box sets.
