As the topic suggests, I currently weight 100kg or 220lb, I know this might not be the ideal weight, but does it actually scares girls away? How much does your boyfriend weight and should I try to lose weight?

On a scientific standpoint, women seem to be attracted to healthy males (not overweight) as this shows the male has good genes to be passed on to their offspring. Women might say this is BS, but on a primal, subconscious sense, it's ingrained in them.

Although if your question is about someone already in a deep relationship with you and you have become overweight, if she truly loves you unconditionally then it shouldn't matter to her, and if it does then you probably deserve better.

Then again I am a doood, so take my advice for what it worth.

I know this question was asked towards girls/women, but here's my opinion anyway:

Being lean doesn't automatically makes you more attractive either, take for example.........................myself.

I have a requirement list of what I need in a bf. If it's a friend idm overweight saying i cba what you look like as long as you're a good friend you won't scare me away. When I think of fat I just get nausea it's a habit of mine which I can't get rid of. That's also why I don't eat meat with fat. I'm the kinda type that think like this 'if I'm gonna have sex with you, you gotta be attractive otherwise it will never happen between us'. Perhaps I'm a bad person for being like this. But hey there are lot of women who likes obese boys because the 'fat' turns them on. It's a fetish but it does exist I'm not trying to offend you so please don't see it that way.

The reason why I voted no was this: I can fall in love with somebody overweight, I'm open to that but, I believe that they should try to be more healthy. Being overweight can come with many health risks and I want them to live a long and healthy life, so I could fall in love with somebody that is overweight, but don't want them to stay that way. I care about their health not their sex appeal here. As long as they're working towards being healthier I'm okay with them. Plus in your situation it depends on your height and amount of body fat.

No. I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who puts in barely any effort to look after themselves

Hmm personally don't care about looks, yeah OK looks are good and all & wouldn't mind a good looking person but as long as we like each other that's all that matters in my opinion.

I don't think weight should really matter unless it's seriously affecting your health and quality of life (for example, putting you at serious risk of developing type 2 diabetes or having heart problems). In that case, I would strongly encourage weight loss of some kind. Otherwise, I'd be fine if my boyfriend were overweight. To me, his personality and values would be more important. After all, I imagine that girls who are overweight themselves would want the same kind of acceptance.

Yes because physical attractiveness and appearance isn't the be all and end all of being with someone

Unless you're really superficial and shallow like that in what you want out of a relationship and partner

Lol this always gets to me. I'm not fat in anyway, probably underweight actually, but it's sad to think that if I were to ever gain weight I'd be forfeiting any kind of love life, proved by the comments.
