Qualeshia thinks that Lala should stop talking in 3rd person so much. Qualeshia does not find it cute one bit.

Is this an AA-style thread where we admit we have a problem, or an intervention-style thread where our friends and family tell us we have a problem? Just for reference.

What? No, come on, it not like I have a problem, I was just asking in case anyone else was wondering. My debating is completely under control. Huh? So what if I go on a good bender every once in a while? That's normal, right? I mean, who hasn't vomited all over their keyboard a few times in their life? It doesn't mean they have a problem, right?

Right?

No. No problems at all, until you lose everything you know and love to satisfy your need to be right on the Internet. Even then it is not a problem because they were wrong anyway.

I don't think what runec said was meant to be a blanket statement; enough stupidity occurs on here that I think the point is fair.

I forgot to say: I'm glad you also talk about the underdetermination of theories by the data.

That's why Lala debates. It's not to convince the opposition, but to show the silent majority how brainwashed the opposition is.

How many people do you think that you have managed to shine your 'light of knowledge' on?

Well, if you ever start some philosophical topic somewhere, feel free to message me to join because CR doesn't have any way for anybody to keep track of who starts which threads.

Okay, pretty much about 95-98% of people you see in General Discussion would be on this list, in some way or another.

Sweet, finally made the CR gladiator list. See that folks, with hard work and perseverance your dreams do come true

I've always found debating fun and if someone has a topic up and running its always quite entertaining to hop in it. Gets quite interesting after a while, especially when you see yourself siding with one user on a given topic and going against them in another. As long as it doesn't devolve into a mindless flame war it can be quite enjoyable and perhaps even an educational experience

Seriously if you start some thread, I'll join (if I somehow notice)

You can take "quality control" into your own hands! What'd they call that... freedomfighting?

Nanikore thinks it's hilarious that Qualeshia is talking to Lala in the 3rd person and thinks that it should continue

I'm only 15 and I'm already tired of debating with people. Nobody is going to change their opinion anyways, and I just end up getting angry, so debating is totally a waste of time for me. I mean, if you enjoy it, be my guest, because then it becomes worth something, but I don't want any part in it.

As for the actual question, I wouldn't know since I tend to steer clear of them.

I generally come here when I'm drinking inclined to relax, so I usually lose interest in debating with anyone after the first reply or two. There are certain users who seem to Quixotically charge into every topic of discussion.. I just wonder where they get all the energy.

I would debate people from time to time on CR when I first joined but at this point I am just to distracted by the anime and manga. That is a shocker I am sure since this is clearly not a website for watching anime and dramas or reading manga. I should do it more often again, because have real discussions on topics with people is fun.

There seems to be some mix-up about bickering, debating, and arguing.
