:O what kinds good for warm weather?

I have a Slytherin scarf that I want to replace with a Hufflepuff one eventually. I only wear it when it's cold enough for a sweater/hoody but not too cold to where I have to wear a coat. Since the coat and scarf clash with each other over dominance when I wear them together and strangle me to death!

It's funny the way I wear it kinda turns into a cape with the wind! All I need now are a pair of goggles and I'll be the classic anime hero.

For warm weather, use lightweight fabric that won't keep in heat. Size, shape, color/print are all personal preference.

I was at a ski shop yesterday and saw beautiful, hand-crafted, lightweight wool scarves. They looked like homemade paper with rough edges and mottled colors (like what you'd make in Girl Scouts) but delicate to the touch - very artistic and edgy look. And the fabric retains heat. It would add to your coat rather than compete with it. What you describe above makes me think of Velma Dinkley in "There's No Creature Like Snow Creature" and her Micheline Man look. Jinkies!

such an odd reference! But I'll take it. Sounds like you know your scarves! It'd be interesting to see them someday!

Scarves confuse me. I mess up tying them, I can never get them to cover as much of my face and neck as I'd like, and they fall out of position.

It is possible this is because I'm a klutz, though.

I always wear a scarf in the winter. Jackets like a peacoat leave your neck exposed which sucks on cold windy winter days. A scarf will keep your warm and block the wind.
