Well she is the patrick ewing female version.

That being say who cares? You can't get him fire, so why even bother with his ass? Moaning about it isn't going to do anything here.

omg its bizarro world.. where things that happened really didnt.

Direct quote from her speach.

"

You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic – you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric.

Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.

"

She really did.

edit - oh wait trump only got 62 million votes and she said half of them so really she only said it about 31 million people. guess we were wrong?

and these things are used in false equivalencies for low grade partisan troll bait.

As for Hillary's quote; It was a gaffe yes, but she wasn't wrong ( feel free to poke around if you don't believe me. Lots of research and polling has been done in the wake of or prior to her comment. ). So unless you're going to argue that FLOTUS is a man?

She made that comment over the summer when Trump was polling lower. So actually no, it would have been referring to about 1/5th of the electorate at the time.

she said trump supporters - not trump supporters according to the polls. she had no idea how many supporters he had but referred to all of them. which happens to be 62 million in total.

i also wasnt commenting on the veracity of her claims. EichixIII stated that she never made the comment not whether it was factual or not.

all i was pointing out was that she did.

i couldnt care less about the fact that it was about hillary or trump but being wrong is being wrong.

even you didnt deny she said it... and gaffe my ass. she meant every word she said.

you always harp on about the hypocrisy of the right but you have a blind dislike of everyone on the other side... i dont believe you cant realise this but you dont seem to want to admit it?

At the time of the "deplorables" moment, a majority of Trump supporters were birthers and believed President Obama is a Muslim. Both of which are based entirely on racism/xenophobia. So Hillary wasn't wrong at the time, and, if anything, may have been understating it.

Also, when did calling out racism become the same thing as racism?

My comment isn't about whether people were called deplorable or not it is simply the number of people called deplorable that I disagree with. Given that in her speech she even said she was being "grossly generalistic" by saying half means that she wasn't even literally calling half of them deplorable. It still wasn't smart but to play it up and exaggerate what was really being said is pretty stupid too.

No, she did not refer to all of them. Also, there is no way Clinton did not have an idea of how many and who Trump supporters were. Clinton doesn't tie her shoes without a focus group.

No, you provided a claim yourself with the 50 million number.

A gaffe doesn't hinge on whether not the person meant it and by calling it a gaffe I have already demonstrated behaviour contrary to your rather sad attempt of a smear there. I "always harp on about the hypocrisy of the right" about as much as there was a "general consensus on the left" on Ivanka being harassed on a plane. Both statements are bush league level ad hominen attacks.

If you're going to be a partisan hack at least put some more effort into it. GD already has trolling of far higher quality than this. You need to bring your A-game if you're going to crack the big league here. =p

I wasn't aware the First Lady have any kind of legislative power. Melania is going to rule with an iron ( pashmere glove wearing delicately moisturized ) fist.

That aside, I have seen what children are fed in some schools in the US. Chocolate milk is the least of your worries. >.>
