I am trying to update my billing because my card was declined but whenever I go to https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/billing I get "Sorry, an error occurred." Is there a way to update my billing?

Wait until your status resets to free member, then try again.

If I go into my account settings it actually tells me my status is "Free" but if I go to upgrade, I can't.

You're still premium for another ~24 hours. You should be able to view premium content.

It's not exactly a bug. The email just gets sent out a bit too early.

I have the same bug. Yes it is a bug. when UPDATING BILLING should not be tied to premium status. Billing information should be able to edited at anytime, industry standard.

Strictly speaking the subscription is still active, and your premium status is still there. But the bank has already given up on charging your account. That triggered an automatic cancellation on our end, which needs about 24 hours to fully process. You are basically getting free 24 hours before the system allows changes to premium again.
