It depends on what they did and why they did it.

i'd say yes but it would have to be a pretty good reason and not for something trivial that much is for certain.

Yes. If a family member has does something to warrant me wanting to sue, I've likely "disowned" him/her.

Sure enough. The only One I'd never do so toward, would be My Father. Everyone else doesn't get a free Pass. There are still several rough edges between Myself and My Mother and Brother.

I'd hate to sue anyone, but if that was the last resort, family member or no, then I'm guessing there was a good reason.

Very unlikely, though. Of the family I have contact with, we're all on great terms. The others.. well, some are already on the run from the law so I don't need to sue. They know I'd give them a change of clothes, let them shower and give them a hot meal, and turn them in, however.

Under the right conditions yes, they'd have to do something really horrible though.

Part of the happiness I manage to generate in my life comes from staying far away from those kinds of bureaucratic non-sense, so most likely no. And I can't imagine myself being as angry towards one as to use that as a solution, I would most likely just try to stay away from them.
