Have a threesome with Ex and new GF.

Chances are the that new GF knew that the author was my ex, even equal chance that they are in cahoots, and organized this entire situation to either have a threesome or murder me or even blackmail me for money.

Hence the threesome invitation, watch how they react to each other, plant bugs to listen to their conversations and record everything.

When the time comes and they reveal their hand, I reveal mine and destroy the author Ex's career and my soon to be ex GF's life.

You're better off insulting her then walking away...quietly. Then explain everything to your new girlfriend.

If you're honest she should already know who your ex is, at least vaguely or you should be able to tell her "that's my ex, I didn't even know, _______ must be her pen name"

Another option would be to handle the situation properly and professionally. You like his book and his work. So, have a conversation about the book and that would be all and get it signed of course. No need for interaction regarding anything else. Even though the ex is clearly a person only worthy of the most horrifying of pains. I honestly think sex is the best answer. The poster of the threesome idea might be on the right track after all

If it were a normal relationship and not an abusive one, then it would have been perfectly fine to walk up to them, say hello, talk about the work and wish them well on their career/future. Hopefully, he/she will return the sentiment.

But an abusive.. a VERY abusive relationship? Walk the fuck out of there. You can continue enjoying the books if you want but for fuck's sake, walk the fuck out.

Hard scenario since I wouldn't allow myself to be abused or anything.

I would give props though, a good author is a good author, I'll just like their work and not them personally.
