I accidentally bought a blu-ray DVD instead of normal so that needs exchanging.

Not me. I mostly got money for Christmas as I was quite unsure myself what I wanted for Christmas, so obviously I won't be returning it. I also got an Amazon gift certificate and a new appliance that I really needed, so there's no need to exchange or return anything I got for Christmas. It's just too much of a hassle seeing that I am buying just about everything online these days and it would take quite a long time for me to get to the malls given that I live out in the countryside, so there's that as well.

I returned 2 gifts I bought online. They were horrible when I got them in person and I wasn't going to give them away like that!

I have never returned anything I have received even if I don't like it or if it doesn't fit me.

I only got a shirt and chocolates. I ate the chocolates already and the shirt fits me so I'm good

looks like there are a lot of people

personally, it's better to return unwanted gifts for refund.. rather then accept them and then donate/sell (at a huge loss)/put it in storage, etc..
