No I not. Don't place me with this filth. I didn't have internet until I was 16 or 18.

You do realize that it doesn't matter when you gained access to the Internet - it's a "generational title". You're a millennial whether you like it or not (so am I, even though I'm 11 years older than you).

Your logic doesn't work on me. I am not because I say I not. You can use any pretty words you want but I would not recognize ever being a millennial.

Kind of ironic this thread pops up just as my system goes down. Can do mobile for a while, but I want my connection.
Pokémon Sun/Moon are entertaining for only so long. Although I did get through a few manga chapters and cupcakes this morning. Offline and 2 bars suck.

Since using the in Internet is required for my job--can't. (I work in a law office.) In fact, if I have to call courts sometimes even the CLERKS say, "You know, you can find a lot of information on the web, right?" (True story! And sometimes specific questions CAN'T be answered on the web! ) As for outside of work--- many years ago we had Internet problems due to a certain company who shall remain nameless and while we were changing providers I had WITHDRAWAL symptoms! I think we had no Internet for a week--it was torture. Luckily, I didn't need the web for school at the time, but if I had--it would have sucked because teachers communicated with students via a special board on the web. We're TOO dependent on computers. Seriously! If there's no electricity at work, we have to leave the building because we really can't do much! I have a hard time imagining a world without the Internet now. Is it ironic Anime is what caused me to be addicted to the Internet? Before that I claimed I'd NEVER use the Internet! Oh, how that changed once I had a REASON for it!

or "google it" or "do you research"

it's true.. you can find a lot of information online.. but there are a lot of bogus information as well

the internet is pretty much a dumpster of information.. honestly i would rather call someone in that particular field of work for a quick answer rather then searching through all the useless/outdated information on some topics.

did you notice that some sites will not include the date in their article now a day?

they are competing for the top "google search" rank..so when you typed in something into google search bar.. their articles will be among the results on the first page.. even though their information is outdated/incorrect.

i hate having to go through all that + not everything can be found online..

this is why it's always hilarious to hear people claiming "you can find anything on the net " or "do your search"

"do your research".. simply googling it and click on the first few results on the 1st page will not count.... that's pretty much how the locksmith scams started..

"BEWARE" ABC News "The Lookout, Locksmiths". Avoid Locksmith Scams
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpK9cRlhETQ

if anyone want to try..

google "24/7 locksmith"

and call the first few search results on the 1st page without looking up the company.. and experience the cut throat/extortion service first hand

In my case, it's much more court website specific as in, "When is the next hearing is Case A?" or "Are there any upcoming hearings in Case B?" Not every court website keeps them updated properly. (Some court websites are COMPLETELY useless and you HAVE to call to get information. I'm looking at YOU, Madera county!) Recently, my office was almost positive a hearing had been cancelled because the case settled, but the court website said the hearing was still on. So I was asked to verify if the hearing was actually on or not. The hearing was off, but a dismissal hearing had been set for a future date.

So..."Googling it" doesn't always work in my specific situation. ...Yeah...
