2016 was awesome for me. I got a great new job and an awesome apartment in a nice city. I paid off most of my debts. Not sure how some celebrity deaths could impact a person seriously unless they personally knew them.

I found this year to be a struggle at some points, but every year is like that. Unless I lose my identity, house or loved one... I don't think I'd call a whole year bad. I did spend half of 2016 unemployed despite everything

It was okay at first. Mental illness issues aside, I managed to finally get my BA in Psychology and started grad school.

But then my mom died, which led to me dropping out of grad school and moving back home to help my dad. It feels like any progress I made with my mental illness has gone down the trash as well. But I guess that's to be expected all things considered.

So yeah, I feel comfortable saying 2016 has been terrible for me and my family.

Was a bumpy year, but ultimately ended on a good note for me.

Let's just say I was contemplating suicide. Oh, I have been doing that for a few years now? Then I suppose it wasn't worse than any of the previous years.

This year was just kinda meh to be honest. Continued with my Geology degree into the second year, completed my current Japanese goal for the year and managed to work at quelling my own mental demons (to a degree anyway). So all in all, it wasn't the best year I've ever had, but at the same time, I don't feel that I have any real reason to complain about this year.

On a personal scale it's been the best year of my life~! The events happening outside of my own circle haven't touched me yet.
