So I tried taking care of this issue by contacting VRV and Crunchyroll directly. VRV never responded. Cruncyroll did. On December 9. I was told there'd be a solution within a day or two. STILL waiting.

Here's my issue. My daughter, who works a part time job, bought a $25 VRV gift card for me so I could subscribe to Crunchyroll. It was a Christmas (early) gift. No where on the VRV card does it say you can't access VRV on the computer, that VRV is phone app only. (Possibly tablet now. Their website isn't so clear about it.)

This is the original message "My daughter bought me a $25 Crunchyroll gift card. I redeemed it on VRV as stated only to find out that VRV doesn't work on PC, only on phones. Is there ANY way to link the VRV account to my account here? Had we known that I wouldn't be able to watch on the PC, which is the only place I can watch, she would never have bought that card. Can you please tell me what I can do? I've contacted VRV but according to their forums there is nothing that can be done as of yet. I'm really frustrated. I don't want my daughter to have wasted her money."

I am seriously unhappy with both Crunchyroll and VRV. Why in the world would you join your service with another service, yet have no way to link the accounts. Then when someone contacts you for help with this issue, you don't help.

I have even downloaded a couple app players onto my PC only to get the "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, was there a resolution? I've uploaded a jpg of the front and back of the card so that I have proof that it doesn't say VRV is not available on computer/only available as an app.

Both a web player on VRV and account linking are upcoming features. The latter should happen sooner.

My colleagues on the VRV customer service team should be reaching out to you, if your ticket is still unanswered.

Someone did get back to me over a week ago. He said he'd have a solution in a couple days. I haven't heard anything and can't figure out how to get to my ticket so I can see if there's a solution there. Thanks for answering me by the way.

I'm not on the VRV team. It's not available where I am located, so I cannot handle these questions myself.

I've had better luck getting a response from the VRV Twitter account (@WatchVRV) than through email. You might want to give reaching out that way a try.

The best place is the customer service form. Just as for Crunchyroll. Even using the Crunchyroll one would be fine, as we'll forward it internally.

It sounded like a ticket was already opened, so reaching out on Twitter might help get their ticket escalated.

I too want VRV on the PC, this isn't the best option to watch a show on at phone screen, also it's Feb 7,2017 and still no VRV PC link.

There are PS4 and XB1 apps as well (haven't had any major issues with the XB1 app).
