I'm really into Super Sentai and really enjoying Kamen Rider. I've tried Ultraman but I couldn't get into it. Maybe its the formula that I'm not used to although the special effects on Ultraman are woah

For me it's the design. The characters, monsters and powers shown in Ultraman are not very exciting or stimulating for the most part. Also, how was Shuriken Sentai Ninninger? It's getting its own Power Rangers series soon, and I'm hoping it will be good after the disappointment that was the second season of Dino Charge.

Shuriken sentai Ninninger wasnt good, it had two annoying characters, red and blue. Red had a bad catchphrase he'd yell constantly, blue was stuck up, pretentious and dont get me started on the lawnmower.

Power Rangers adaption is meh. you're watching dino charge meets ninjas

Oh I had not realized that it had already aired. I'm not sure what "Dino Charge meets ninjas" means exactly but its too bad its not good. Sounds better than the original sentai though. What wasthat about a lawnmower?

Blue had this thing with a lawnmower. Basically his character was residing in the UK and the first present his mother gives him is a lawnmower. It then becomes a yokai and blue is trying to save the lawnmower yokai. He even named it Carly

Sorry for the late response (kinda had things like school and constant binging and haven't really touched Crunchyroll that much) Ninninger was a weird and sad one. Zyuohger (the 40th) was a step up and Kyuranger (our current team of 9 rangers! well now its 12 and counting with 10 males and 2 females; I'm not kidding.)

Power Rangers Ninja Steel (Ninninger's adapted form) isn't really great.

1st episode we see 3 rangers (Red and Pink ~ again ~ although we see Blue with them too. The fight takes place in the woods ~ again ~ and trying to protect a powerful artefact that powers the rangers ~ again ~ and we just see a glimpse of the other two.
The other 7 episodes they've released have been close to lacklustre and full of fart jokes and unnecessary Bulk and Skull 2.0 ~ again ~

We also get random zords popping out (like we did in our 20th anniversary that made most of the fanbase rage with sorrow and anger)

Honestly not worth sinking your teeth in it.

Yeah, I havent watched Ninja Steel but I did follow a few of the reviews on den of geek. The consensus seems to be that each episode has barely followable plotlines, boring characters, bad pacing and the ninja theme isn't even woven into the story that well. I hear even the action is boring, which is a death sentence to this kind of show. Ive heard good things about Zyuohger though, so at least I'll have that to look forward to but Kyuranger seems kinda clumsy.

Zyuohger has a great cast. We've had for 3 years this type of reds who are like a main character in a shonen anime/manga (worse being Kyoryu Red and Akaninja) And the red for Zyuoh was a fresh breath of air. He was nice, not too loud (he was a zoo-zoologist) and was actually a pretty darn interesting red you could sympathise with and not to mention he's an amazing actor. The other 4 don't do as much as you would want but they shine pretty well in their focus episodes and in some scenes. I love Zyuoh Eagle and Tiger (she's kind of realist. She's cute on the outside but sneaky as heck and actually uses that cute factor in one episode which was a sumo episode...It got weird but it was fun. She destroyed the monsters nose with her huge claws. I'm sold! lol)

Ninja Steel needs an overhaul. The Ninja aspect is pretty much sidelined so that they can focus more on the teenager/High school stuff and that's not even that interesting. Bulk and Skull 2.0 are just nope. They're really cartoony but it just doesn't work. At. All. The plot is something I have no idea of. It's just them protecting the powerful ninja nexus prism which throws around ninja stars that summon auxiliary zords for no reason. Funnily Pink is the one to watch out for in Ninja Steel just like Ninninger. Both shine and are just fun to watch. Oh and the action is boring. It's just slash and a kick or shot from their gun. That's it. Nothing exciting about it at all. One thing I did like besides Pink is that Yellow and White are dating even before the series started.

As for Kyuranger; it's got issues devoting screen time to certain characters (poor Raptor 283; she's the pink one and she's only appeared transformed 4 times and 2 times in group battles.) but it's getting pretty interesting as you follow it more. I would recommend trying it out.

Hmm. I think i'll wait for the next Power Rangers serieses then. It's good to hear that the sentais are good but I dunno, I'm still not sold. The storylines do sound fun but I'm not really digging some of the aesthetics, especially Kyuranger's designs. Not to mention I'm getting kinda miffed by all the reused motifs. Ninjas, animals, space, it's all been done before. I'd really like to see them expand more and get some really creative gimmicks. I mean they were emergency first responders that one time, so that doesn't leave that much off the table.

Kyuranger is like Star Wars meets Sentai. You have Jark Matter (the empire) which has conquered 99% of the universe and the Kyurangers are the rebellion blessed with the power of the constellations. I mean some designs work and some don't. I really like the Kyurangers helmets but their suits are certainly weird. Plus I like the simpler looks like ToQger (massly hated) and Zyuohger.

Zyuohgers plots a little simpler (animals meet Goseiger) you have this parallel dimension called Zyuland and the four rangers (Sela; Blue, Leo; Yellow, Tusk; Green and Amu; White) are stuck on earth and want to return home, Yamato (red) takes them in and they battle aliens who see earth as the next place they can hunt species.

Meh. I admit I probly would check these out inmediatrly if I watched the sentais but I usually just wait for the Power Rangers so thats probly what I'll keep doing. It sucks though, because not a lot of tokusatsu interests me rn. Hopefully Garo will come back soon.

I really wish though that Crunchyroll actually gets the right to stream super sentai and kamen rider just so I don't have to resort to other measures to watch Kyuranger or Zyuohger or Ex-Aid.

Speaking of Kamen rider have you tried any?

I only really gave a shot to that one from a couple years ago with the fruits. I was gonna give Ghost and Ex Aid a try but I ended up being too busy. The new one only starts once Im back in school too, so it looks like the only way Im gonna end up watching one to completion is by going back and watching an already finished show.

Considering my first kamen rider series is Ex- Aid I'd recommend it to you. It's a medical drama take on the series where people are infected with the game disease and the riders are doctors who are curing people of these diseases. It's on its 41-42nd episode now but it is really good. It's very story driven. I've heard that Ghost isn't worth diving into and Build looks really good. He's my avatar lol! I'm hoping Build is really good.
