Should I buy The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition?
Posted 12/29/16 , edited 12/30/16
I was browsing through Amazon, and saw that the game was on sale for the PS4...only $30. I haven't played the original back on the PS3, but this game does seem pretty interesting.

Also is there anything I should know before/if I buy it?

yes

1. actually have fun with it instead of just rushing through the main questline
2. join the thieves guild and the college of winterhold (companions and dark brotherhood are pretty meh IMO)
3. the game's pretty overwhelming at first, but i'd recommend playing at least 6 hours before deciding if u want to finish it or not
4. blocking is fucking useless... dont even bother w/ that shit

Skyrim is a great game It is one of my most played games on steam. Special edition is a bit of a cash grab but if you haven't played it before might as well. It does have better graphics and the dlc. Only thing I would note is that people like the pc version more than console since you can mod it a whole bunch, but I understand it may not be a good option for you; I am just putting that out there. There is plenty to do in the game regardless if you mod it or not after all. I just love to explore the world of skyrim, so much to find so much detail in the world, so much stuff to do.
