If you don't drink with a straw, what was the final straw?

Only after going to the dentist.

Restaurants only, when they're supplied. It's just seems kind of, well, mandatory to use them when they're available/offered at eateries, except with hot drinks.

I usually pull the straw out at restaurants, drinking with them sucks.

Apparently, It's bad for your teeth when drinking soda. I still do it though

I use straws at restaurants or any drink that cannot easily be consumed without one (like a frappuccino or milkshake ... etc).
They're not too bad - in the long run. It's just one of those things that aren't really necessarily for the majority of things.

Whenever it's offered I do, I like the feeling of sucking my drinks as fast as I can. They typically spill all over me if I do the same thing without a straw, or at the very least change the color of my upper lip. I'm a greedy person, I don't do well when it comes to patience and refinement when consuming drinks, but I am also at the age where I don't want to look immature by requesting one.

....What does that even MEAN??

(Pretending it was an actual question posted by someone else:
Only when cute pub-chain restaurants serve the water in those 1-pt., 5-lb. heavy cut-glass tumblers...I think the idea is, they make them too heavy to try and walk out of the restaurant with.)

The final straw was when I was 10.

I find them rather inconvenient to drink from.
