I didn't really enjoy the last movie, but I'm hoping this one will be better. Either way, I'm going to watch it as soon as it's available.

Eh. Fairy Tail is my least favorite battle shounen, because so damn hamfisted with the themes of friendship and forgiveness. It is less of a debate than Naruto and Bleach portray, but an answer that is shoved in your face without even basic reasoning behind to support it, to appeal the base idealism of its demographics.

I use to be against things that teaches moral answers and not moral debates, but that was a long time ago, and I realize that propagating a moral answer may be great if their reasoning is something we can pick apart and disagree with, or improve on. However, while the use of fantastic situations can be used to examine hypothetical moral conundrums, which can be applied to real life, Fairy Tail abuses the nature of fantasy.

In essence, examining a situation where no good deeds go unpunished, you cannot save the girl, or other consistently extreme but unsavory situations, is more worthwhile than creating a world where Nakama powerups solve everything. I am not arguing cynicism here, but the practicality of examining a world where everything bad happens to a world where only good happens. We can apply fantastical bad situations to the ones of real life, however, the resolution of bad always being trumped by such goodness has little worth, since real life never consistently does this. Of course, using moves based on distrust is unhealthy as well.

In essence, this anime is rage inducing because of its heavy handed but unsupported moral message.

I heard it'll be screening internationally. I hope there's a theater close by that shows it. Otherwise, I'll have to wait. :(

The new PV was short. I'm glad there isn't too much spoiled about it.
