I'm sure everyone has experienced the frustration of discovering a wonderful series, but when looking to play the visual novel it is based on finds that it is untranslated and has no western release planned whatsoever. PLS CRUNCHYROLL I'LL GIVE YOU ALL MY

There is a pretty good market for them. They sell incredibly well on steam... CR could make money from it. How they would do it would be a ??? though. Also if they overprice it. I bought Clannad on steam 2 days ago. Cost me $25.00 on 50% off. They be expensive af.

I am not familiar with the 'VN English port business' term. If you are talking about the production of visual novel then I agree with you.

NoT really. This would basically just creep up on people eventually, but right now? Let's try to worry about the issue at hand. A good market? It might do good elsewhere in the world, but the majority might still be iffy. I don't think this would be a good move, not right now. Just capitalize on merchandise, which is what everyone would say.

A translation for a VN, probably not the most difficult thing in the world, but I still don't see the market for it, at least digital I don't see it working. I'm all for translating a lot of things, but realistically we can only offer soo much.
