After this election cycle ended, we all had this idea the constant politics would stop. It hasn't. Will the general discussion board ever stop being the "politics with other shit idk" board any time soon? Will people stop saying "literally hitler"? Will I ever get any productive work done? Find out on the next episode of Dragonball Z!

Maybe it was disagreeing about you failing to get anything done. You may be quite productive in the next Dragonball Z episode.

I think most of the political threads altogether will start to die down around April or May.
Even Trump supporters will become apathetic towards the moves that Trump make once he starts in his position. Politics are normally a strong talking point until the new president (or renewed president) takes up the position and residency in the White House. After that, barring a national crisis or controversy, nobody will care for a while.

*sigh* It'd be nice when it dies off more, because all this Slytherin vs Gryffindor talk has gotten real old. Us Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs would like some screen time. I mean, it's not like we're expecting a movie continuation of the Harry Potter arc any time soon, if ever. Right....? Maybe.

Are you a badger or a canary should be the new normal question for starting relationships.

you no trump thrives on controversy right?, he's going to keep doing that through out his precedency because that's all he ever does and he does it to just get his name out there, sorry to say this is not going to end any time soon.

My Poo Is Telling Me that political threads are its brethren and that users should immediately purchase some Poo-Pourri to cover up the overwhelming stench of political drivel.

Edit:

That's exactly what I said in another thread. Just a bit more elaborate. Trump's tweeting and controversy will eventually cause people to become numb to his nonsensical ranting, especially if the mainstream media continues to report on it as if every single controversial tweet is the coming of a new king or tyrant.

what have you Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs ever done of note to even warrant any attention, all you do is sit around and watch while the Slytherin and Gryffindor's walk around handling the hard work, honestly if you can't even work the energy to be engaged in the work then you shouldn't be demanding equal screen time.

Bitching about politics dates all the way back to the very first government ever formed.
