They disbanded earlier this (well, I guess last) year . Another legend disbanded. KARA and 4Minute already disbanded this year, why the queens 2NE1 this time? I guess I already suspected it when Minzy left 2NE1, because 2NE1 as a trio is unimaginable.

Apparently Bom might be having a solo soon, and Sandara is working on her web dramas.

CL has been looking for success in the American Market maybe like Psy, but I don't think it's working as well as they have planned. I don't see CL doing well because the whole, "asian rapper" image is still strong on her. Zico and Jay Park have been working hard to destroy the "asian rapper" image for the boys, and they have broken many boundaries, but female rappers, as far as in K-Pop, isn't westernized as much. They don't have the free spirit like the men, especially regarding idols. Cheetah and other female rappers have kind of stepped out of the boundaries, but female idols really refrain from cussing. I don't see female idol rappers dissing each other like the male idols do either.

Looks like CL's going to be the most successful still. Whoever stays with YG will probably become the most well off. Good luck to the others.

Minzy's on Sister's Slam Dunk!!

Her new hair and image really surprised me. I mean, seriously. Our baby Gong Minzy with blonde hair? Who could have imagined that a few years ago. Well, actually, she had blonde hair before, but the style of her hair this time.. it's crazy. I think the most drastic change is her makeup. She doesn't look as badass anymore, but I still love her new image. I'll love her no matter how much she changes.

The new produce for Sister's Slam Dunk is another legend, Kim Hyeong-suk. I watched part of the first episode, and it was pretty good! It was quite nice seeing Kim Sook and Hong Jin-kyung back there again. It's also nice to see former idols, Jeon So-mi and Gong Minzy on there. Actually, apparently, Somi is a huge Blackjack too! She said that she only listened to 2NE1 as a child.

I'll be rooting for the two of them, as well as Hong Jin-young. My bias from last season (Ra Mi-ran) left, however, I'll still continue to support them!!

It's nice how Somi's getting another chance though. I was afraid what she was going to do after I.O.I. It was pretty obvious there wasn't going to be any changes in the Twice lineup. I can't imagine her doing well as a solo artist either, maybe later. She might have to wait until JYP releases a new girl group again, but I guess her age is small so she won't have to worry too much.

I've been talking about Somi too much, so I'll end this with a Minzy. Good luck with Sister's Slam Dunk! I hope the second season does well!! Also looking forward to Produce 101 second season (completely off topic, but not really since we're mentioning Somi).
