So for Xmas my brother and his wife sent me a whole bunch of manga from Japan. What would be the best way to translate them?

get a friend who can translate Japanese to help you

or just look up scanlation groups.. they probably already translated the mangas you have-- since they translate by chapter on a weekly basis..

or you can pay someone to translate the mangas for you..

the cheapest and less labor way is to just look up scanlation groups..

Yeah I'm not sure there is an efficient way to translate them if you can't yourself. I suppose you could use the picture translation function of the Google Translate phone/tablet app to at least get a quick and dirty translation in a pinch but the more stylized the characters are, the less this is going to work for you.

I'll second just looking for translated scans online. I mean, since you've already legally obtained them it's not like you're really "stealing" them or anything.
