make it so videos don't freeze/lag as much happens both when watching on my computer and on my cell.

if getting a new series that has been out for awhile make sure to get episode 1-current episode though it seems to be only one or 2 series it still sucks.

That is "sort of" possible to set up...Not ahead of time, mind you, but within about 10 minutes of being available...

Forum Improvements

  • Overhaul the Private Messaging System ~ It would feel more natural with an AJAX/JS-based "messenger" application that would hover on the bottom or side of the site that would function like a "chat" and also have the ability to turn this off and use a more streamlined PM system without it feeling too much like a botched email system.
  • Overall the UI/UX ~ The forums are feeling a bit dated with how they're laid out and the UI has been around for as long as I can remember. Updating the UI to allow for a better user experience (UX) would be remarkably awesome. As it stands, the forum's "home page" feels cluttered.
  • More User-Management Features ~ Blocking users, muting users (PM block only), and similar user management for the end-user would be remarkable. While there is a plugin that allows for blocking of users, it isn't very intuitive because it's not "part" of Crunchyroll.
  • Group Features ~ While it's cool that each group gets their own "sub-category" on the forum, it feels like this could be tweaked a bit to give more incentive for such groups. You could have badges, levels, and tiers of operators in groups that could be displayed on the forum as a whole or on a user's profile.

Overall Website Improvements

  • Negotiate with Content Producers to move to HTML5 ~ I know everyone's said this already but it isn't entirely Crunchyroll who makes this call. Some content producers from Japan have not updated to HTML5 due to copyright concerns. Yes, I know you can rip a Flash file in a blink of an eye now, you don't have to tell me. It's just that Japan is a few years behind when it comes to such movements.
  • Profile Overhaul ~ The profiles are kind of nifty looking as it is. But going back to the forum improvement, there's so much more that could be utilized here. If CR calculated average age and found that the vast majority of users are between the ages of 14-21, they could focus more on "social" aspects with some gamification. I know this is outside of my age demographic but it would be kind of neat to see how the profile page could be expanded without giving too much control over to the users.
  • Better Queue Management ~ While the queue system isn't horrible, I do think there's room for improvement. I've noticed that I tend to get an e-mail regarding shows in my queue after I've already watched the show. Things like this show that the queue system was a quick feature thrown into the site as content grew. Instantly updating your queue when you've watched something, notifications through Chrome informing you that there's a new episode being released in "x" amount of time... things like that would go a long way.
  • "General Discussions" ~ At the moment, General Discussions seem to be a cluster fluff for Political Discussions. I know they're probably waiting to determine if it dies out after the President-Elect is inaugurated. However, a lot of the traffic to General Discussion comes from it being on the front/home page for Crunchyroll. We can either shift how these things show (by default) or simply remove forum posts showing on the page unless you've opted for it.

Yes, I know that there's more than one thing there. I'm not good at a singular line of thought when it comes to website improvements, sorry. Most of these things would quickly improve the "quality of life" on Crunchyroll as a whole.

I'm more concerned with improving Queue Management because it's severely lacking, but this is the best response so far that I've read. I have a tendency to want to leave everything I've ever watched in my Queue so that I can scroll back through when I forget the name of a show. I have a horrible memory, so it's rather annoying that the Queue list only continues to get longer and my only option for a show I've finished watching is to manually drag it to the bottom of the list or remove it entirely. I realize I could technically remove it from Queue and then add it again, which would put it at the bottom of the list it's just annoying over all. Most of the shows I've kept on my list waiting for the next season. I would remove it from my Queue (to shorten the list) if I had the option to get notifications for when shows I've chosen to follow are updated or something along that lines.

On some manga reading site I used in the past you had the option to categorize manga you've bookmarked into "Currently Reading" or "Completed". They would remain bookmarked, but could be view separately. I like to see what I've finished reading and/or watching as a kind list of accomplishments. It actually annoys me to see those anime convert achievements because they just disappear and have no meaning as far as I can tell. Anyways I think something like this might be an option as well for Queue Management. Sorting based on Genre or at least Alphabetical order would be wonderful if nothing else because of those times when you're looking for a show, but can't remember where it's at in your Queue...this would be ever so nice to have.

That's my two cents on Queue Management.
