The first episode was fun, though nothing all that special. Worth another episode or two at least.

It's too bad they didn't go with the PSP story/characters

That is my thinking. This looks nothing like either of the games. (Important to note that the localized Akiba's Trip is actually the second game.) For that reason, I'm ... not feeling it. Might hang on for a bit, but this just isn't the same.

I haven't played the PC version, but I remember liking the PSP one 6 or so years ago (wow I'm old...)

I actually quite enjoyed this, going into it with low expectations so it was fun. Sure the premise is weird but this is at most going to be dumb fun which i have no problem with.

Plus the fight choreography is on point.

Boring, but I really enjoyed the animation style, although the art style as a whole was pretty unappealing.
I'll only keep watching if I hear good things about it like what happened with Keijo last season. I should probably just finish Keijo instead of watching this though.
The purple smoke effects when a Bugged One is stripped look really uninspired, dunno why that stuck out to me.

So many problems with this sentence...

I'm surprised Gonzo is still around, I guess they're hanging by a thread.

Of course, they are one of the best. Lots of stuff they have, like classics such as "Last Exile", "Rosario + Vampire", "Tower of Druaga"; and personal best, "Welcome to the NHK". Although in recent years they have been limited to 1-2 shows per year... Nonetheless, it is not unlike many anime studios these days...

But you wouldn't ever know it, "Denizen of CR"; because this is Crunchyroll after all, and most of their stuff is...

Anyways, as to the show itself... Anyone who calls themselves an Otaku needs to be acquainted with the Akihabara district of Tokyo. Although have yet to see whether this show follows in the detailed layout of the games; for people who never been to Japan, this franchise is a must-watch to introduce u to the concept. Lots of stuff to learn.

And of course, cannot forget the classics (even featured ingame it appears). The reason u go to Akiba... The "theme song" thereof.......

This show didn't really pull me in, the story is weird enough that I might watch a few more episodes. Maybe this show will do what Punchline did and really turn around.

Ep 1

I actually enjoyed this quite a bit more than I expected to. The animation is neat, even if the art is a bit lacking at times. Overall, I figured it was going to be silly (and it was) but it was fun too.

I actually own the PC version of the game but have yet to play through it. There's a good chance that I'll get to is sooner rather than later now, even if the anime turns out to be different.

This show looks like Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill threw up all over each other, had a baby together, then had sex with the baby and threw up all over it.

i think this adaption is great i had so much fun watching. It really captures the game to me. The fight scenes are great and quirky characters as well. This studio chose a great style and great soundtrack for this anime. We will see later how the villain compares to the games villain though

Me still wondering who that is, of course; but yes.

Goddammit, more fanservice? Why it's so necessary these days? I can complain but does that do a thing? Take a guess. Oh, and speaking of that, the enemies weakness is just ridiculous. Taking clothes off to exposure them to air? Seriously?

But anyway, never played the game, the anime however, looks good. That's it. Animation reminds me of Kill La Kill. And there appears to be another Finnish reference in the (name) form of Ahokainen.

And the dubbed version has already begun, too? There's barely but one episode. Man, they work fast, gotta say.

Neverthless, i suppose it's gets better. Just gotta wait.
