The more I watch, the more I'm convinced. Just think of all the predators that probably starved to death because she interfered with their hunts.

Lassie kept torturing Timmy by knocking him down wells and stuff. The tv show was edited to make Lassie look like the hero Instead of the psychopathic dog that she really was.

Yep, lassie was a real bitch.

She didn't know the harm she was doing to the natural order of things. If Timmy is so stupid that he falls down a well repeatedly, then natural selection should have claimed his life a long time ago.

na she's just doing her job and protecting her territory from unwanted intruders no different then wolves or coyotes attacking other wolves or coyotes who trespass in their territory and hunt their prey just in a dog like lassie's case she considers herself a member a of pack which includes humans and instead of going out and hunting for prey we raise it.

Lassie just wishes he was as cool as Strongheart and Rin Tin Tin.

Not to mention both Strongheart and Rin Tin Tin served in the war, Lassie was just some pampered draft dodger, probably why he pretended to be a girl and went into film.

Mommy, who's "Lassie"?

(And yeah, I know, the Flintstones parody was funnier--Just saying, I'm twice as old as you and I've never SEEN an episode on TV. They tried bringing her back in movies twice in the 90's and 00's, and a generation now still thinks she was just a character in an MST3K movie.)

But he/she had a great inner-narration singing voice!:

I didn't say anything about sexual Identification. The character he portrayed is a girl hence the name Lassie but the actor was a boy his name was Pal. Just a professional actor like Robin Williams, John Travolta, or any male actor playing the chick.
