Kimchi. Sour Kraut doesn't even compare.

Buddy, you're asking if I choose the moon or the sun. It's too deep.

I can't eat kimchi anymore . . . my taste buds like it, my irritable colon makes me regret it in rather painful terms...

It is nice to have a Costco Polish with some kraut and onions . . . just 1.50 mmmmmmm...

A Ruben or a pastrami Ruben is nice too...

My Mom's mom, Grandma Friez, used to make this wonderful sauerkraut and rice swimming with spare ribs and oily goodness... Ahhh . . . my Black Sea German heritage.

I've only ever tried sauerkraut but I think I'd like kimchi because I grew up eating spicy food. I'll have to try it out some day.

Sauerkraut is just pickled cabbage, it's salty and sour, like a pickled cucumber... but with cabbage.

I have tried Kimchi, but it kind of tasted bland and bitter to me, I didn't really enjoy it all that much. Then again I do hear that it is fermented cabbage. I don't drink alcohol, I hate the taste and don't see the point in getting drunk. However, the vast majority of people do love alcohol. They initially start drinking it despite the taste, for the purpose of solely getting drunk. So maybe they eventually acquire the ability to enjoy fermented things.

Sauerkraut soup is amazing. My mother's side is Ukrainian so cabbage is a staple in my diet. Naturally, kimchi spoke to my tastes when I first discovered it so they're both equal.

I wonder how a kimchi cabbage roll would turn out. I should experiment with that.

Sauerkraut.

Nothing like a batch of that, some freshly grilled sausages and potato pancakes.
