Well if you quit, I doubt that's the problem unless you quit just recently. If you don't feel right you should see a doctor. Fatigue (if that's what you mean by slower) can be caused by many things.

I mean, if your brain isn't finished developing yet, which happens by I believe 28, then it's POSSIBLE that weed has had a permanent effect on you, slowing your mental calculations, and consequently, body speed. I don't know about Energy Drinks, though.

Anyone else possibly feel this way about either one?

+ I quit weed permanently and rarely have energie drinks anymore. Can't change the past though so I want to talk about it a little.

Male 20 so I don't think age is really a factor in this. Could be though.

Sometimes quitting something does not mean it will be fix in a few months or years.
Also quitting by it self achieve hardly anything. You need to eat healthily and exercise your brain and body.
Maybe then you can reverse or fix some of the negatives consequences if any where cause by those things.

I'v actually went to a doctor because I felt fatigued and the only thing that was off was lower vit B12. I'v heard from someone that your body produces vit B12 on it's own and that energie drinks can make your body stop producing as much but I took it with a grain of salt. A lot of people lack B12 just because. Also, it was so slight it shouldn't make a noticable difference.

I stopped smoking weed around a month ago but I had been smoking once every two days for the last three years. It's hard to explain but it just feels like I'm slightly slower for catching, gaming, math, verbal communication, etc.

THC is absorbed and stored by body fat. Smoking for years can build up the THC levels and take a couple months to be flushed out of the body... longer if you are overweight.

Slower?

You yourself made that choice. If you do not practice your lifestyle in order to reach out to people, you are only denying yourself the importance of such abuse.

Use anything for the purpose of selfish endeavors, you learn that your mind will succumb to addiction.

We can drop the act, but will that ultimately solve our problem? We believe we are slower, because you haven't learned a dam thing except the effect of one substance to another, you aren't understanding why you do it. You fill your head with useless satisfaction, not knowing the full effect you have put your body through.

Talking about the past and your results only sets in motion your unwillingness to recover. If you don't get stronger by the day, then grow weaker in stagnation

I don't smoke weed anymore...

Part of the reason why I want to know if others who abused marijuana or energy drinks feel the same way. If I see a lot of people are having the same issues, I could send a letter to Health Canada advising for more study on the effects of marijuana before it's legalized if it was the problem. I'm fairly certain it was the culprit here.

Ahem.....

It doesn't take a genius to tell you that abusing a substance will have side effects.

Send a letter to health Canada xD oh I'm dead.

Marijuana is going to be legal whether you want it or not. People understand how much money it will generate.

They already know the effects of Marijuana. If you smoke it under the age of 28-25 your body and mind is still developing , thus you are more likely to have greater side effects before your body and mind is fully developed. Even smoking it over that age will still produce side effects.

Just like energy drinks, or alcohol, abuse it and side effects in return.

There are people who smoke weed when they are 14 years old, even younger. Just understand you are the least of their worries my friend, and also understand that you can recover both mentally and physically. Just live a clean life of mental training and physical activity. If you don't understand the consequences don't even consider your state of mind right now.

You probably smoked weed for the wrong reasons, same with drinking energy drinks. Of course you become slow. They don't care about side effects, because people don't just smoke tobacco casually right? Over time, abusing anything will cause side effects.

The culprit. Only you yourself are to blame for your problems.

Can't delete threads, but mods can lock and close them, at least, which I've done.
