Hey Guys,

I tried to upgrade to premium using PayPal and it timed out. It never brought me to the PayPal site or anything. I went to the upgrade to Premium page again and I see the error message in red "You have pending checkouts" at the top of the page.

I tried to find the pending payment process but there's no trace of it in my order history here or my paypal account.

Should I just try to upgrade again anyway? I'm afraid this might result in a double billing.

Same here, now I'm just tired of all the tech problems this site has. They won't get rid of Flash, and I can't even purchase premium account when I want to. Maybe I simply shouldn't want to do that and keep torrenting.

Also OP you can't keep upgrading because it won't let you.

I think I know what the problem is...I manage my PayPal reoccurring payments manually.
I was a premium member about year ago, I cancelled the reoccurring item that was tied to my CR account from PayPal but I forgot to log into CR to remove the PayPal payment method. Then when I logged in again today and tried to upgrade, CR tried to use that payment method but it was rejected or put in a state of limbo by PayPal.

I need to be able to re-add PayPal to my CR account but I can't until I remove the old one. But since my "payment is pending" with that old PayPal item I can't because of the error "This payment method cannot be removed because it is currently being used to pay for a pending membership."

So can someone from CR support, remove that pending checkouts thing from my account so I can re-add my PayPal to my CR account?

Depending on the hour of day, there is (usually) a support chat session available here. If not there's also a link to a form submission
