Episodes 1 & 2

What happened in ep 2, should have been the first episode.

I feel as if this show is a slightly less better version of Tari-Tari or Beck. It looks like it is gathering up these people to start a band so that they can perform.

This will obviously have some drama and romance twist to it as well. I want to like this series, but I need more. I'll stick around, but if I end up dropping, I won't be surprised.

It took me way too much time to watch both episodes because i had to stop and look on mal who the VA's were and where i knew them from. I got the impression on my own that this anime would make me feel, judging by a lot of the comments on the video and the discussion it seems like my ice cold heart will be compromised at some point.

A little torn on this one though I am definitely learning heavily towards liking it. It has some very likable characters including a main male character that is not a repulsive idiot, a gay character who actually admits to being gay and a lovable leading lady that sort of reminds me of one of my favourite characters from last season (Miyakoshi from www.wagnaria). It's also a music show, which I'm naturally drawn to anyway that has some really good music both in episode and in the OP and ED. Heck, it even has a story that's going somewhere right away instead of bumbling around for half a season before doing anything.

So, with all the positive, what's not to like? Well, the story feels way way too built on cliches and coincidences so far. Also, the art style is very generic and sort of boring. Based on the limited amount of art that I had seen for Fuuka going in, I was expecting something a lot more visually interesting and stylish. It's just sort of meh looking and doesn't grab you at all.

I should have looked up the creator then i would have known i wouldn't like this.
It's a shame too because i liked the concept, but it's just full of cliches and not in an entertaining way either.

First anime dropped of this season...don't let me down Scums wish!

Ugh that second episode, is this guy a relative of Jack Tripper? So many conclusions he is jumping to (except the obvious ones) he should join the track team.

Not necessarily a bad show, though I almost rage-dropped it with the first panty shot. Semi-interesting character dynamics, but the awkwardly mopey protag-kun soured it for me. Judging from the comments there's more than just the typical rom-com-dram, but I don't see a reason to sit through something this bland.

Just checkin' on here to see the input from those who have seen the episodes, and I'll say, that even if I haven't read the manga nor watched the first 2 episodes...... I've already been spoiled last year by someone who has read it. Hence, I'll see if I'll put this series on standby.

When I heard Koyuki, I couldn't help but think of the lead of Beck. Maybe she is his inter-anime series daughter...

Nothing too exciting and the show feels stiff at parts. I can't pinpoint the reason, but I'm intrigued as to see how it develops. Particularly, looking forward to when Yuu and Koyuki meet in person again. While they saw each other in the concert, they were still far apart. How did Fuuka get/afford those front-row tickets? Those must have been expensive.
