The adventure is finally over, met some advance riders and learned a little more about riding a bike.

That was a fun trip! Hoping to ride through those roads sometime in the future. The club even met up with the station riders. I didn't recognize one of the ladies as the head of the night Criterium. I liked how they gave some tips to Hiromi and Sandy. Then the two seemed to share those tips with the others. Speaking of which, Sandy's inclusion is fantastic! Hear manner of speaking a blast to listen to.

A little bit worried for Hiromi. Knowing that she'll be riding lots of miles, she should have had an ample breakfast. She's lucky she didn't hit the wall while she was riding; that could have been dangerous.

This week's end card features Sandy:

Episode 11

continuing from the last episode the girls are trying to catch up to Shiki sensei. While riding the girls get passed by some riders and Sandy makes it a challenge to catch up to them and drags Hiromi with her. This doesn't go well as they get tired trying to catch up and seeing them in trouble the riders come back to give them tips. After realizing that they left the rest of the group behind the group catches up to them by ferry and visit areas before catching up to Shiki sensei. In the end the day comes to a end and the club heads back home.

They were truly Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club.

Final thoughts on Minami Kamkura High School Girls Cycling Club is it wasn't terrible although the show starts very slow and that is a real turn off for some people out there. It had some fun moments, characters are alright and the backgrounds are gorgeous.

I personally like Long Riders better.

Episode 12

After returning from there trip the girls repot to the principal to see if their club is official now, but turns them down since they are missing one thing. The club figures out what that one thing could be Sandy leaves early and Shiki sensei comes to inform them that Sandy is going back to america. With Sandy going back to america the girls decide a trip to Mt. Fuji to make memories with her. To make this a success Shiki sensei and the bike manger help out by renting a van and so the girls head to Mt. Fuji. In the end it turns out that Sandy is only going home for a week to visit her grandma since she misses her.

Final Thoughts

The anime does have a slow start as Hiromi learns to ride a bike and than meets the other members of the club. Once the club is formed we start seeing them join events and plan trips. The anime even has a segment after the credits to inform people on bike frames and stuff related to it. Besides the show itself the other thing I enjoyed was the end cards as each episode has one. It's really nice to see some anime provide end cards as some nice one's come out and you can use them as a wallpaper. In all I did enjoy the anime and I wouldn't mind watching another season.

Meh. Fine final episode and a decent enough send off but I can't say I was ever all that excited by this series. It was just sort of there and I pretty much kept watching it because Friday this season ended up as my anime night. Never offensive but never really appealing. Not all that much more to say about it other than that.

Pretty enjoyable episode 13. It certainly doesn't really break any new ground but it was nice to check in with these characters again.

Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club EP 13 “We're In Taiwan!!”

After arriving in Taiwan Hiromi / Sandy go sightseeing and run into Su who is a dead ringer for Natsume ( Su is also their guide )

Su is quite the guide also being a rider vwho wants to go to Europe like Natsume does It was a nice relaxing EP

The show had great end cards

Finally got around to watching the OVA and it was pretty fun. The rental bikes in Taiwan are like Citibikes in New York (although I'm sure they're at any major city). I'm sure everyone has a twin somewhere in the world. The backgrounds are still gorgeous and that ED is still fire. I think it might be the most underrated ED of last year.
